35 years and have never had a bad meal. Last night's shrimp pasta for my husband and haddock and grits for me were excellent 😋 you can't beat the wait staff Michelle is the best she always remembers you and as my momma used to say back in the 50s Johnny on the Spot. Thanks for another great evening. Always get their fresh handcut onion rings they are the best!!

I was shocked, always a great place for seafood, but tonight was not the same. Ordered the French Scallops. They were cooked too too long and rubbery. The sauce was very watery and not thick. The peel and eat shrimp was great and a good size. When the grilled shrimp was served, it was a little bigger than my pinky. The grilled mai mai was good though. Willie, you need to fine tune some items up

Stay away from the Shrimp Butter Sauce Pasta. $20.00+ for 10 small overcooked shrimp with a pile of some very dry flat noodles. No liquid at all. All the other dishes I saw coming out looked great, but not mine.

I ordered the pick 2 fried and got catfish and shrimp. This meal also came with cole slaw, hushpuppies and a side, I picked fries. The catfish and shrimp were delicious, nice and crisp and full of flavor. Hushpuppies were delicious, nicely fried and still bit moist. The fries were a huge disappointment. They were very blah, no flavor and seemed barely cooked. Would not get fries again. I also liked that you could get bottled water that wasn't too overpriced.

We've been here 3x. The first was the best food, couldn't wait to come back for some NC style seafood. The second visit was ok, disappointing, food not nearly as good as our first visit. The third visit was awful. My shrimp was terrible. The server was good. IMPORTANT, The rest rooms are NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE, I couldn't get my walker through the access area to even get to the Ladies bathroom door. We won't be back, even though the hushpuppies are the best We've found in Florida. NOTE, I am from NC and well acquainted with fish camp style seafood. So disappointed. Finding parking was a little dicey as we both need handicap access. I'm not in any hurry to return.
9/25/2025 Tried to add a new review, but couldn't - so, I'm doing an edit/update. 4 stars! Previously we were disappointed with change to smaller portion sizes, but not food quality. Well, I would like to say today we ordered takeout and we were pleasantly surprised to see the quantity of food was back to normal portions. The only thing that was skimpy was the coleslaw. I had one order with green beans (they were delicious) and one order with coleslaw. The green beans were in an appropriately sized container. Please use same size for coleslaw, next it'll be 5 Stars! Otherwise...it was awesome, as usual! And so glad other portions are back to normal! Thank you!!! We'll be back more frequently now. 😘😘😊
Food is always delicious, but disappointed that portion sizes have been greatly reduced from the previous ownership. Also, missing some coleslaw and cocktail sauce for some parties within my order. Today. 😏 Please go back to larger portions, just like we longtime patrons expect, Please.

Tried to use door dash while there and wanted it delivered to Tampa to the hotel we was staying at was in town for graduation at USF and fat willies app would not let us order said we was to far we was 22 min and we was willing to pay and tip well for the delivery and I called 2 times the lady that answered said there should be no problem use are app on are page but there was an issue we did not get are order it was canceled please fix ur door dash thank u
