Allegro Bistro in Venice is a true hidden gem! From the crisp Caesar salad to the indulgent Pasta Carbonara and bright, flavorful Chicken Limonatta, every dish was a delight. The Eggplant Montagna was melt-in-your-mouth perfection, while the Broccoli Rabe and Sausage had the perfect balance of savory and garlicky goodness. Their homemade bread was irresistible, and the Italian cookies made for the sweetest ending.
With warm hospitality and outstanding homemade dishes, Allegro Bistro is a must-visit for any Italian food lover. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a tough review to write. My husband and I love going to the Bistro for the pasta. My favorite is shrimp and scallops portofina and my husband's is Nonna's pasta. Last night, we thought we would try a margarita pizza. We've watched others thoroughly enjoying the pizza. Our pizza was disappointing. First, it really wasn't a margarita pizza, the crust was tough and burned, and only 3 little pieces of basil. We learned that Nonna has a new chef. Of course, we will return. Every chef deserves another chance. The bright note is our server, Eric. He is always attentive and makes you feel part of the family.

I got the flaky fish dinner and my fish was rubbery like it wasn't fully cooked, so I mentioned it to the waiter; he was not able to bring me another meal because the cook went home, however, he was able to get someone to cook me a personal pizza, which was okay. They didn't add it to our bill, so that made it better. My sister got the spaghetti with meat sauce and meat balls, and she said, it was great! The owner came over and was very nice, very friendly. The drinks were just okay. They did have a live band and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

The restaurant is also a place for the elderly to relax, and they can also dance impromptu in the ballroom to different live sounds every day.
There were many senior citizens in the restaurant having a good time. The service in the restaurant is warm and thoughtful, the lights outside the restaurant at night are like daytime, and the flat ground... makes people with walking difficulties very warm. …
Although I am still young, I am willing to go here, like a big family, and enjoy all the wonderful things...
