Was not impressed with the food. The pancakes were small and dense, seasoned hashbrowns were mushy and needed salt, and the $9 whiskey pork belly came with 2 pieces of charred and flavorless bacon that was so dry the entire table decided it should go to the dog. Our server was nice, patio is very loud from traffic.

Really quintessential Florida restaurant. Small cramped, we'll attended. The food was plentiful, hot, and flavorful. I order the homemade corned beef with 2 eggs, a slice of toast and hashbrowns. My wife ordered the everything bagel, which was accompanied with a healthy dolup of cream cheese, capers, smoked salmon, lettuce, tomatoes, pickle. Next time I will be ordering the 2+2+2 .

The spinach, mushroom, goat cheese omelette was outstanding, as was my husband's banana French toast. Atmosphere is cozy, neighborhood feel. We've lived here for a while. This is now a new favorite!

Well all I have to say is AMAZING. For a little establishment , I have to say everytjhing was amazing. I first stopped for lunch and had the Cuban and fries. A little over pressed but prefect in quantity and quality. I had breakfast twicw and for the price , well worth it . To the ladies , thank you and Joe thanks for the second Cuban for the road trip back to the east side(Deland) lol. I will be back for another round of good food . Joe

I've eaten at BIB for several years and have raved about it. My go to lunch was the Cuban and shoestring onion rings. Well my last lunch on 12/30 was very disappointing. For starters the sandwich was pressed and overcooked. Something changed in the taste. The rings were not shoe string and was extremely greasy feeling and tasted like old grease. I've had so many good lunches at Blue Island bistro that I would not write this place off. But I will go back probably in a month or so and ordered the same thing and check it out again. All I can hope is that the quality and taste is back to where it used to be.
Stopped by this weekend for breakfast and was immediately greeted and sat. They menu had a large breakfast selection with so many options that it was hard to choose. If you go on a weekend make sure to try the donuts!!!!

Very enjoyable breakfast. Hot tea is your own pot, contains 2 cups. They bring out the tea box, and it was a pleasure picking it out. I decided on Mountain Chai. I came for the Whisky Bacon Benedict and was not disappointed. Highly recommend this place!

I had the Chipped Beef and Eggs.
My wife got Scrambled Eggs with Raisin Toast and Home Fries with Taylor Pork Roll. I ate the Pork Roll. 😁
We'll definitely be back.
I still have to try their Scrapple and their Pork Belly.
