Very cute place to eat breakfast. Great service. Great food. You can sit inside or outside. We keep coming back.
Such a cute place and the food was amazing. Got the Philly cheesesteak , and the jumbo lumb crab cake Benedict. The cheesesteak was the most amazing one I’ve ever had yet , the only thing I can complain about is I wish the Benedict had more crab.
Great food and a wonderful environment. My boys just loved the comfy couches.. it was a real treat for them and the service was awesome. Can't wait to go back for the pancakes and blu omelet. Thanks guys and many blessings.
Good portions. Fresh food. Tastey. Wonderful waitress Lara , who serves with a smile. Remember to choose a plant on your way out, by donation, from the adorable plant cart. A yester
-year atmosphere with old time hospitality.
Good news, the server we had was awesome, but now for the rest.
Corned beef hash was dry with little potatoes. Very dry. Ordered 2 eggs medium which came fully cooked. Ordered Grits which came out ice cold.
We Ordered 2 mushroom and spinach omlettes which was to be covered in goat cheese but came out covered in Feta.
Not a great experience
My wife and I ate at the Blu Island Bistro in April 2025. A location that my wife worked at 30 years prior when it was a different restaurant. We went in sat down and we're promptly greeted by our server. After we looked through the menu, we I decided to order the Whiskey Bourbon Benedict for $16.50 and my wife ordered the Steak and eggs for $16.50 both of which seemed a little overpriced but we still decided to eat there. My Benedict tasted pretty good even though the pork belly bacon was a little overcooked, making it hard to cut. My wife's steak was a little underwhelming, and still gray and little overcooked. We commented to ourselves that it was a new menu item and they still needed to practice a little bit more. We ate and got and paid our bill, noticing that they charged us $2.00 more for the Whiskey Bourbon Benedict and $1.00 more for the Steak and eggs. They never told us or was there a sign or a note on the menu of the price increase. We paid the bill and left without complaining. After thinking about it I felt compelled to write this review to let other diners know what we experienced. That being said, we most likely not be returning
We appreciate the reply and can understand the increased prices due to egg cost. The reason we were not aware of the sign on your entrance door was while we were walking up from our vehicle. The gentleman that runs your food to the customers was just propping open the door, making it impossible for anyone to read. Thx.
Just a great breakfast again. I had the Omlette w/mushrooms, spinach & goat cheese......Mmmmmmmmm! Server was very good and kept us well for our visit. Thanks!

Never had a philly cheese steak with a toasted bun, definite plus addition tho. Kettle chips were good. Bourbon Bacon Frittata was also worth the trip.

Excellent restaurant for breakfast & lunch. They do not serve dinner. Ann Marie is a wonderful server who is awesome at her job & is always smiling & makes wonderful recommendations. There is a large & varied menu & we have never had a bad meal in 10 years. Although the ownership changed, the food is better than ever. Nice size portions cooked to perfection. The mimosas vary from week to week; there are several draft beers or try a loaded Bloody Mary or an Aperol Spritz. I highly recommend Blu.

I highly recommend this place. Not only was the food divine, but the service was exquisite. Big shout-out to Brooke, who served us, She was so warm, attentive and genuine, and made us feel so well taken care of. I really hope to come back and dine here again!
