Oh my goodness how can I say this this was the second or third holiday that I've ordered from Bob Evans here in Venice and I have to tell you that this order was made by someone that didn't realize that they closed at 7:00 p.m. needless to say I called at about 6:30 to tell them should I come now or wait about my order. That's when I found out that they close at 7:00 so I quickly made my way over there with haste. When I got it was about 10 minutes to closing give or take a minute or two, and the manager very very very very very very nice person and all the stuff that I saw extremely nice I mean they were exhausted I could tell but they still had no issue going and getting my stuff and getting it ready or even though they had already pretty much done for the evening and wanted to get done to their families for Christmas Eve, they didn't say that but obviously people don't want to be at work and on top of that have a giant order come in 10 minutes before you close. So even though the person that ordered made that mistake that they didn't even blink they could have my order ready and I mean I had an order very big order for over 12 people put it that way and they had not put together so perfectly I can't even explain. So huge shout out to all the staff that were working Christmas Eve 2025, and also a big big shout out to one of the managers that I spoke with she was just the best. Never had an issue with Bob Evans especially the Venice location. They always go that extra mile. So the manager that night 10 minutes still closing on Christmas Eve put together an order an entire Christmas Eve dinner order together without saying anything because technically she didn't have to really she did not. Because it was a mess up on our behalf not hers not Bob Evans but they still did it and they didn't do it fast or lazily they did it and it came out perfect mind you as well my order was to be hot not the cold orders that you warm up when you get home everything was ready to go hot fresh. I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to the manager that was on duty that night as well as the woman that was at the front she hadn't hurt her arm so I believe she had a cast on it wrapped up with ace bandage. And she was still carrying bags and helping out, even though I insisted don't worry about it whatever you get done I'll get everything to the car just as it comes. She still was bringing it from the kitchen to the front but I needed to recognize her because I know working with that arm couldn't have been easy. Thank you again do all the Bob Evans South that was working Christmas Eve 2025!

I was there yesterday, about noon order water with lemon, and the lemon was already squished then the bread was stale and reheated.Very disappointed, because me and husband love's to go there.

The staff needs some training. I can't say this LOUD enough. Waitresses need to LOOK at their tables as they walk by them. Don't try to look away. Anticipate your customers needs by looking at the table. Easy peasy

Had a wonderful experience, today. Our Servers, Carlene and Diane were very good to us from the moment they Greeted us, Served us, and said Goodbye to us! Our meal was a great feast and we will visit again, soon. Thank you, to the Venice Bob Evans Staff!!

We are long time customers. Over 6 years! Very disappointed today. We wanted to have the three course dinner for two. Tried ordering online and we're not able to. The website kept declining payment with every card and method we tried. (Same card used this week for ordering appliances at best buy and no troubles at all, use it all the time)
So went to the restaurant instead. It took over 15 minutes for the only server available to even come to us, even served people who came after us first, which we didn't appreciate of course. She did a great job at ignoring us. When we could finally order we couldn't order what we had chosen online. The dinner for two they offered instead didn't have dessert and not the entree I had chosen online. Manager couldn't help us she said. We left very disappointed. Won't be back. If your offering online is different from the restaurant at least make sure your system works properly. Or have a solution at the restaurant for people to order at the spot for take out if you don't want to serve it at the restaurant

The food was good. The service was extremely slow. It was prime lunch time and the place was dead. But for some reason it took 15 minutes for us to get iced tea. And an additional 25 minutes to get soup and half a sandwich. Not gonna be in any rush to go back. Sad because this used to be a good place.

Purchase was a carryout. Got it home to find out it was the wrong coffee. I ordered extra bacon extra crisp. Did not receive extra bacon and what I received was not crisp. Also, ordered eggs over easy and they were over hard. Definitely not up to standards we are used to from Bob Evans.

Bob Evans is a great, friendly, customer oriented restaurant. An excellent choice for breakfast, breakfast meetings, lunch or dinner. My men’s group meets there twice a month and the tables are always set and waiting, with hot coffee handed out as we arrive. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is homespun and I recommend them very highly!
