Back again but with just me and the wife. They had a Pastrami reuben on special. Not normally on the menu, so I ordered it. Was very good and tasty. Sauerkraut was tasty addition. But the price of a tea was $3.50. REALLY. That is far overboard for a cheap water type drink. Service was fine as usual.
I sat on the outdoor patio and the breeze was just right... I had my mind set on the corned beef or the almond crusted baked scod. I did a bit of research and then asked my wonderful server Walter which he'd prefer. He said the almond! I was puzzled yet engaged in knowing what he meant. So I went ahead and ordered it. A spontaneous afternoon/evening roadtrip and date with my husband found us 45 min from home and sitting at the bar drooling over the menu. We were NOT disappointed at all. 10/10 from the service, (thank you Katie) to the OUTSTANDING fish n’ chips, a DELICIOUS take on an espresso martini, great conversation with the bar manager, Erica… it was all great!
