Good service and good food presentation. We were early weekday diners but felt welcomed and the staff attentive. Food came nicely paced and very good. The space was clean, simple seating, and found our sushi based order fresh and creative. Will return again!

Unfortunately, I can't give it a full five stars. the buns were made carelessly and looked ugly. the gyojo dough was falling apart and was overcooked

Fresh fish reasonably priced. Friendly staff and sushi chef offered delicious squid ? salad and free deep fried rice dessert. Beer was cold and server was attentive. A nice find and recommend for smaller groups.
Parking: Free parallel parking out front if available or across street there's a free lot 5 mins walk.
I ordered chicken teriyaki lunch special. Chicken was dry. Teriyaki sauce was very thin and spilled allllll over the inside of my to go bag. Rice was tolerable at best. Didn't even bother to try the salad as it looked sad and dry. And the seafood chowder soup tasted canned. $20 lunch mistake, will not be back.

So glad I stumbled upon this place. Scored tekka roll, mexican roll, steamed gyoza, eel roll. Been a sushi fanatic since 18 yo, quite a stretch. Just moved down here from Sarasota, lifelong there. This will be my go to place, guaranteed. The lady who runs this place is as nice as they get. Excellent sushi at great price, which is all we want for christ sakes! Not EVERY place known to man is on the "overpricing" bandwagon, because they can, because everyone's doing it. Just one example of why sushi-wise. The mexican roll is a shrimp tempura reverse roll w/ avacado, smelt roe, jap mayo. SO many places, do not give you real tempura shrimp, it's deep fried, HUGE difference. In addition to that, they're flown in from Lilliput ?. Not here. One example of why this place is good to go

I love this place so much. Our waitress is the nicest lady in the world and always remembers what we like.
Never have Japanese food this bad in my life. If I don't have to give a star I wouldn't give one. Sushi rice is mushy, salmon skin is greasy, brown sauce on sushi is unnecessary. The Arnold Palmer tasted terrible. Will never go back to this restaurant anymore!
