The salad was "drowned" by balsamic and the sandwich too dry... apart from that very nice and cordial server!!

Definitely the finest Italian food and service on the Island! Everything was fresh, tasted delicious and looked delicious too. A large selection of wine, and our server Ivan was knowledgeable, attentive but not intrusive. Truly our best-ever Italian meal in Venice in the past 5 years!

second time here in as many years. food is fantastic. service is stellar. i had the rack of lamb - it was glorious-cooked to perfection. huge quarteredpotatoes were cooked perfectly; broccolini was crunchy and seasoned well. i had the octo carpaccio; caesar salad - all interesting and perfect. the manhattan was special. wine list expansive. we’ll be back next year for sure!!

Food was delicious. Service was very RUSHED!! Four of us had drinks, salads, entrees and dessert in 59 minutes. Waitress was efficient but had zero personality. I realize they need to "turn the tables" during season, but for the prices, Cassariano should allow for a better, more relaxed, dining experience. If I want fast food, I'll go elsewhere.

Had a reservation for 7:45 outside, arrived at 7:30, was told (with an attitude) that my party will not be able to be sat until about 8:10. No biggie, then I was told they might be able to seat us earlier indoors. Ok? That's great! Right? No....We get stuffed in the backroom with a horrible echo, something you have to think about when you put a bunch of Italians in a room together...sit....wait.....wait, watch the server check on the other 3 tables in the room, finally order drinks, they arived fast, then we wait and wait again...watch her check on all the other tables twice, at least 20 minutes go by, we finally get to order apps, our party of 6 proceeded to order with who ever was ready first, she stops us and says we have to give her our app and dinner order together and we have to got in clockwise order only no skipping over people to come back to....what??? Apps come...my wife got the Aranchini (deep fried rice balls with cheese inside) she cut into it and the cheese was still cold and literally still a cube...we told the server and they took it away, said they will get it right...it comes back and it is the same rice balls she just cut into but they put it in the microwave!! For these prices???? You gotta be kidding me, I had duck for dinner...the most chewy and rubbery duck I've ever had....after a 300 dollar bill with nothing taken off of it, we will not be back...

March 9, 2024 - 4 for lunch.Been wanting to come here for a few years, just never end up in Venice at the right time or purpose. Friends in from Pennsylvania and some shopping created the reason.....WOW, what a nice spot! A nice surprise on a Saturday afternoon.Service was a bit slow (NOT busy) and our waiter seemed to be either unfocused or just not his favorite activity. We did have a little language barrier but again not a big deal. The place is surgical clean and I am always nosey enough to peek in the kitchen when I venture to the facilities. Nice decor and comfy chairs and clean flatware and place settings. The menu is fairly diverse and the food quality, preparation, cooking and even the utensils and placeware were simply yet "fun" and enjoyable. The greens and vegetables in the Caesar salad (7/10) and the salmon salad (9/10) and the vegetable sandwich that I got (10/10) were very enjoyable. The classico 'ham' was just okay (5/10) but the rolls for the sandwiches and even the 'dinner' rolls were fresh and highly palatable!!! Would have liked some oil or even a plain butter spread as the sort of maybe lime butter or something was kinda tart and tangy and just wasn't a good fit for all 4 of us. (but we didn't come for rolls and butter, just an FYI)We are definitely coming back for dinner to really check this out. I can see why they won an OpenTable 2022 award!Vegetarian options: well kinda have to roll your own or make some substitutions or deletions. especially if you don't want a pasta dish. most everything is a dairy or meat/fish. But you can make up your own thing. vegan, vegetarian, lacto, whole food plant based, etc etc.

Visiting this area and saw an interesting lunch menu. I had the scoglio and nice lunch portion with lots of seafood. Offered rolls and an artichoke spread that was very good. Wine selection good and a fair price for a good pour.

We brought guests to join us at Cassariano's one of our favorite dining options. As always, Paulo greeted us warmly and our server, Ivan was on top of his game in both recommendations and wine selection. I gave one star less on food because my wife ordered her favorite dish and it has been changed, not really to her liking. She had the walnuts and ricotta filled ravioli, gorgonzola sauce and pears. She ordered it numerous times. Last night the sauce drowned the ravioli making it look unappetizing and was way too rich (an upset stomach later that night). The rest of us greatly enjoyed our meals and the tuna panzanella appetizer special and burrata con prosciutto appetizers were perfect. We're definitely returning but we recommend the chef greatly reduce his use of white sauce on the ravioli.

the seafood with pasta and tomato sauce was delicious and they brought me a lovely dessert since it was my birthday. My husband had a turkey sandwich and seafood salad and was happy.

Cassariano never lets you down, they are our go to for out of town guests, our clients coming in, and our family go to. We have tried other places and they just don't have the consistency of Cassariano, the first thing asked when people coming in, “did we make reservations for Cassariano's” excellent food, service, drinks, we just cannot say enough great things about all their places just not Venice, now in Lakewood Ranch, even hit the Minelo NY one, they are tops in our opinion.
