The food was excellent. Fast, courteous service. Everything was served on time and well presented. The clam chowder and seafood bisque were fantastic. The smoke salmon plate was enough for my wife and I. Also, beautifully presented. We're definitely coming back. Oysters Rockefeller came with a hollandaise sauce. I was initially taken aback by this. I've never seen it before, but WOW, they were delicious. The view from the upstairs dining room was gorgeous and relaxing. Try it! You'll have a great time.

We stopped in for lunch while visiting the north jetty in Venice. Even though it was lunch hour on a Saturday, we were shown to an upstairs table next to a window overlooking the water. The atmosphere was open, bright and inviting. I ordered a plate of fried Grouper, Oysters and Shrimp with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. The fish was lightly breaded and delicious. My lady ordered Seafood Pot Pie, with a copius amount of scallops, shrimp and flounder in sauce and a sweet croissant like pastry floating on the top. Excellent food and service. I highly recommend the restaurant!

We didn't like the service of Luis the waiter. He doesn't seem to enjoy his job very much. The party next to us arrived way later, but they got their food before us.Seems like the waitresses are money hungry and care more for the tips of the retirees folks than a non yt regular family.Look for better options.We won't come back

My wife and I dined upstairs on 4/10/24 and had a great experience. We were seated at the window overlooking the channel and were greeted by our waitress Jonelle. We had a cocktail at the table and Jonelle was very attentive when we were ready to order. She was very patient and accommoodating as she checked the vintages of the wines we were interested in. She brought the one we requested and we placed our order: clam chowder and pea soup. She nodded when I asked to have mine served "Volcanic" and that's how it came out. Both were delicious. Next': fried shrimp for my wife and the grouper seafood platter for myself. Both were absolutely tremendous. Jonelle was a superb waitress and my wife and I agreed that it is the best food and dining experience that we have had during our stay in Venice and we agreed to return before we return to NYC in the not too distant future. A real treat!!

Food, atmosphere, service was amazing. Our only reason for 4 stars were some of the high prices- a dozen oysters $50 and 9 oz glass of Oyster Bay wine was $16.50. Seems a bit high to us and we dine out a lot.

As a sailor I come here often. The restaurant and marina are mandatory stops for me on the West Coast of Florida. Choice of downstairs pub or Upstairs restaurant. Whichever you choose the food is reliably good. And the downstairs Raw Bar is outstanding and still reasonably priced.
