Place went super downhill. Used to love Darrells. Last time I went I got a brisket sandwich. Brisket was dry and the bread they put it in very obviously had mold. Shows a complete lack of quality control. Doubt I'll be coming back when I can find better food down the street.

We did take out for 8 folks. The only negative I would say was I was disappointed in the collard greens. In fact I would tell folks to skip them completely. However the ribs were great, along with sweet potato’s and cinnamon butter. The corn bread needs to adjust there mixing ration between wheat flour and corn. It currently lacks the solid corn bread flavor. Salad met anyone’s expectations. We will definitely order ribs and sweet potatoes again and make our own sides.
Dietary restrictions: No gluten free options with their corn bread.
Parking: Love their ribs!

Loved the chicken hearts. Brisket was chewy and came out luke warm - tasted like it came from a bag. None of their sauces are spicy which is extremely disappointing. Beer was poured into a really weird mason jar and had about 25% head. Collard greens are not seasoned and coleslaw is bland.
I had a lot of great food in Florida.. This is not one of them.

My wife and I ate at Darrell's last Sunday November 17th. Waiter was polite and the service was good. The food was average. Quarter dark chicken was very, very small for a lunch item. This would have been somewhat acceptable if the taste was outstanding, but it was not. The mac and cheese side dish (a favorite of my wife's) had no taste and was left behind. Her brisket was not very good either. We felt like we wasted our money.

I had high hopes for this place with all the reviews. The BBQ sauces weren’t great, would have liked other options. The meat was so bland on their own. The nachos just no… the chips were I think under cooked or stale and very greasy. The corn bread and baked beans were good. And the service was what I would expect when going out. She was friendly and kept our drinks filled. Would not return.

I absolutely love this place! Went for the first time recently and already can’t wait to go back! The service was fantastic! Our server, Madison, was so sweet and gave great recommendations! Beyond the great service and atmosphere, the food is incredible. I had the regular burger with a side of mac and cheese and it was so delicious! The sweet potatoes are amazing too! Ended the dinner with their banana pudding and you must try! Highly recommend this place! Perfect spot when you are craving BBQ!

We found this spot via googs reviews while we were in town for a minute, and it didn't disappoint ? ?
They have a great menu, but we had a hankerin' for that bbq tater and bbq mac n cheese we took to the state park for lunch....Mmmmm mmm
That brisket with the blue cheese crumbles green onions and sauce on this tater, ? too good
The mac and cheese was homemade and creamy goodness, and all that pulled pork on top with sweet bbq sauce delicious. These dishes were huge too it was enough for two meals for us.

Had a craving for BBQ and this place didn’t disappoint. Menu had a solid mix of options, I went with the Dandy Andy. Lots of food, well cooked, and great staff.

As a North Carolinian who loves Texas style BBQ, this was not worth the time or calories. The pork and brisket were both dry and craved smoke. The potato salad was bland and unseasoned - not even salt and pepper in here. The sweet tea, fries, and cornbread might have been the only redeeming dishes, and at that rate, you might need to reconsider your dining decisions. Hard pass.
