Such a welcoming and cozy little wine bar in the heart of Venice! The owner takes full pride in her service. Great place to meet friends if you are new in the area and the wine selection is stellar!

Incredible wine selection, amazing friendly service, cozy atmos- don’t think you’d need more for a “wine down” day to be honest. The owner Carmel is such a sweetheart and warm & welcoming from get go !She knows her wine and her collection speaks for itself.Try the charcuterie board to go with your favorite pick or her pick for you.Either way it will all work out good here in Venice, FL.
Vegetarian options: She could do more veggies & fruit in her board. Feel free to ask.

Owner/Chef Carmel and wine expert/server David are perfect hosts. For wine and food lovers, this is the new secret find in Venice. We have been back 4 times. There are over 250 wine choices.Carmel carefully prepares custom small plates for her guests. Bring friends for a connoisseurre's experience.
Parking: Farfelu is tucked into a little strip of businesses that is easily missed. Parking is just off Tamiami trail.

My husband and I were walking around Venice and stopped in to visit the Wine Bar that we have heard so much about in the community. We had a wonderful time, Carmel the owner and David the manager were unbelievable hosts. We will be returning to experience more great wine and company!
The wine bar previously known as Casey Key Wine Collector is now operating under new ownership and is named Farfelu Wine & Cheese Bar. Carmel Stephano is the name of the new owner. She plans no immediate changes other than to retain the only employee, David, take the cheese and charcuterie offerings to another level, add some small plate menu items, and, of course, expand the hours! We are so glad that David is staying on to pour the wines. He is exceptionally nice and quite knowledgeable about the wines they serve. The charcuterie board we ordered was generous, interesting, and paired wonderfully with the wines we chose. The atmosphere is welcoming, the other guests were friendly and sociable, and we very much enjoyed our time there. Having moved to Venice from the Wine Country of the Willamette Valley, we have struggled to find an authentic Wine Bar that serves quality wines in a refined atmosphere. This place is the real deal! We will be regulars. If you see us in there when you stop by, be sure to say hello. Cheers to Farfelu!
Parking: There is a parking lot on the side of the business. Easy parking. Conveniently located.

Delicious in every way. I asked if their coffee was good and they said it was. It actually is delicious. Great service. Fast delicious and very fair priced. Can’t wait to grab a meal again.
