Its kinda hard for me to say this because I love this whole place for long time even before fins was built And people here try hard , service is great and dishes are clean and view is lovely and all. But why can’t food be tasty ? Go try food at Opal hotels You lick the plate cause you want more Calamari, and rice and shrimp and potatoe and etc etc , Taste , the taste is just not there . Please bring about that awesome taste

The food and view were amazing...we had sushi, steak and the pork chop and enjoyed both the presentation and taste. The view of the sunset was beautiful. The downside was the service...we sat for 42 minutes before anyone asked us for our drink order...and that was because I stopped another server to ask if he could take our drink order...I was told our server had alot of tables and would be with us shortly. Finally got our drink order in...20 minutes later....food same...we never got a refill on my diet coke or the second cocktails we ordered. Our reservation was for 7:15pm so I understand peak time but at the.price paid for the meal the service was not at the same level.

Finz Frenzy is the place for a perfect sunset or to relax and enjoy wonderful drinks/apps. As always, the drinks were delicious. It was hot, so I enjoyed a mocktail - it was really good! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the surf. Finz did not rush us, even though we were there several hours. Great atmosphere, attentive staff. Can't recommend anything over another because drinks and food are always delicious!

First off want to say that we love this restaurant, as it is a place we go when we want to treat ourselves, when friends are in from out of town we take them here! Food is amazing and atmosphere can't be beat. Went for a birthday dinner last night! Service was a little back up and we could tell our sever was in the weeds, totally understandable....but kinda was one thing going wrong after another. Food did take quite a long time, but we were enjoying ourselves so that really didn't bother us. After a time of my sister and brother having their entrees I was still waiting a bit for my sushi to come out. Long story short my brother went inside and talked to Patty, who we assume is the general manager. She came back and profusely apologized, we only really thought maybe she'd take care of a round of drinks or maybe my meal, but wound up taking care of the entire bill. This was beyond the call of duty and we were tremendously grateful. Things happen in the restaurant industry which is to be expected, but we were so impressed how they owned up to their mistakes and held themselves accountable. That's just amazing hospitality and now they have customers for life!! Ps lobster nachos are a must!!

Our service was nice. We ordered New Orleans shrimp and a combo appetizer with fried shrimp, peel and eat shrimp, onion rings and some kind of fried fish. Everything we ordered was overcooked. The fried fish was also tasteless. And the fried shrimp was not deveined.

I could feel the owner’s pride in the cleanliness, premium ingredients, and thoughtful presentation - all of which deserve five stars. Unfortunately, the actual execution from the kitchen fell far short of the promise of a true luxury dining experience.
The sushi rice was overcooked and overwhelmed with vinegar, leaving it harshly sour rather than balanced. Quite the contrast between the real shrimp and crab and a poor execution of the recipe. The steak tartare was bland, the fries tasted like reheated frozen potatoes, the burger tasted just good enough to eat , and even the $44 steak was unimpressive enough to leave unfinished.
This place has all the right elements - location, ingredients, and presentation - but until the cooking skill matches the ambition, it cannot deliver on its luxury claim.
It’s a beautiful stage with amateur execution - smoke and mirrors at luxury prices. Also I might be reading too much into it but the hostess has a naughty side eye I couldn’t understand the reason for getting. One more thing- be ready for a server to bring you an electronic device alongside with your check, and force you pick one of three tip options : 20%, 25%, and 30 %. No other tipping options. Not a big deal however a strange set up.
