We generally don't go to Fins except if out of towners want to go for the sunsets. Service has usually been fair to poor. We were pleasantly surprised this time. Simon did a great job and funny too.That doesn't make up for a steak that bordered on medium-well when medium-rare was requested, in my case. The others in our party were happy with their meals. At $48 for a 6oz filet, it should be done right, everytime, no fail. And you shouldn't have to wonder if it will be a good experience or not....not at those prices. The only sure bet is the location.

The number of people walking up and down the fishing side of the pier made it hard to fish. Over all its worth going once but not twice. The drinks were not good. I ordered the pina colada, and it tasted nothing like what the name is supposed to be. Food was expensive.

I love the location and the atmosphere but the food was not exceptional. The fish was fresh but the fries leave to desire. I felt that way few times I have gotten. It is a super cool local spot with an amazing view, fantastic atmosphere, great service and awesome life music but the management should pay more the side dishes. If my bill is over 140.00 if like super hot and fresh fries, Cisło that’s not saggy. Maybe one of the owners or managers will read this comment and take that to their heart. Also the side broccoli was just not right.Make it perfect!!!The locals would appreciate that.

I had lunch today at Fins @ Shark’s today and was extremely disappointed in the quality of our order ordered Philly steak sandwich that was like stew on hoagie roll very sloppy like a stew and did not taste like a phil sandwich my wife ordered steak salad that was so so and at 75 dollars was a very poor experience the waitress was fine Hope that it improves first and last visit. Thank you

This place is right on the beach where you can enjoy excellent views and live music from a gentleman playing classic rock and laid back tunes on his acoustic guitar.There is both indoor and outdoor seating, but you'll definitely want to sit outside.We were seated two minutes after we checked in, despite being given a 30 minute wait time, With the pier and beach right there in front of us, a 30 minute wait would have been enjoyable, but considering I was starving, I was happy to be seated quickly.They use a text system to notify you that your table is ready, so if you do wander onto the beach or pier, you won't lose your table.Our waiter was friendly and professional and routinely checked on us.The menu selection was diverse without being overdone (one front and back menu as opposed to pages of selections that no one cares to actually read all the way through).The prices were surprisingly lower than I would have expected for a place like this on the water.Our food was excellent and delivered faster than our drinks, which were served promptly as well. If you're ever in this area, you should definitely have at least one meal here.

Fin’s at Sharky’s is a fun place. Food is good, but we had to wait to be seated and had a wait for the food. That’s because it is a very popular second floor (water view) restaurant in Venice, Florida. Great for young and old. Go for it!! (Prices reasonable).
