Gold Rush BBQ is our go to place to pick up exceptional barbecue and sides with truly exceptional service. Inside is always packed with long lineups waiting and a lot of noise so we can't speak to the atmosphere of the dining-in experience but we're glad to take out or enjoy the feast on the outside deck.

Our service was really good. It’s a cool place, but the food just wasn’t good. The ribs were really dry, baked beans were average nothing special, Mac n cheese was eh. Idk I guess I have high expectations for BBQ. I’d probably go to mission bbq instead of here.

It was my first time here and the staff are amazing (very attentive) , the atmosphere is very nice and the food is delicious. The portion size is very large. There's a good variety of options for everyone and lots of sauces for dipping.
Very loud inside but worth every minute. I came to town for three nights and ate their food every night. Couldn’t get enough of this food; had leftovers for the third night. What else could I ask for? Chopped pork and brisket are amazing, sides too. The service team is exceptional even with takeout the first night. I will definitely be back the next time I come to Venice. Highly recommend if you like a great barbecue spot!!
