I can only base this review on what my wife and I ordered. We had heard that their salads were really good at lunch, and since we had big dinner plans later, we wanted something light. We both ordered the small house salad, and unfortunately, it was very underwhelming. The salad was essentially just chopped iceberg lettuce—similar to what you’d find in a bagged mix at the grocery store—with only one slice of cucumber and a single tomato wedge as toppings. That was it. Honestly, it was disappointing and not what I’d expect when ordering a house salad that people recommend.
On the bright side, we each ordered a piece of cornbread, which was very good and definitely a highlight. The other meals ordered by our party looked much better than our salads, so I’d assume our experience was skewed by what we chose. That said, I personally would not recommend the house salad, unless you’re truly a fan of plain iceberg lettuce.
Service started off on the slower side—it took quite a while for our drink and food orders to be taken. However, once our orders were in, the food came out quickly, which was nice. Prices overall seemed a bit high for what you get.
In summary: our particular order wasn’t a hit, but based on what I saw from others’ meals, there may be better options here if you choose differently.

I was working down in the area and decided to try Gold Rush.
I preordered my food which was the piggy back combo (ribs, pulled pork with sides collard greens, cole slaw and mashed potatoes.). I was given a time and once I arrived to pick it up I had to wait another 20 minutes to get it. On a lunch break that doesn't really help. But the gentleman working the window offered me a drink and kept me informed about everything so great service on his part!
The ribs were tender and flavorful but they were tiny.
Pulled pork wasnt my favorite that I've had and I usually enjoy this from most places it wasnt flavorful to me. I put more sauce on it and It just wasn't for me.
The mashed potatoes were the best a little garlic flavor and well seasoned. The collards were very good too well seasoned with deep flavor would have both of them again. I wasn't a huge fan of the Cole slaw it was a little too sweet for me like maybe theirs pineapple in it. It was just different to me.
I didn't eat in so I can't comment on atmosphere. I would try them again and try different side and maybe the chicken to see how that goes.

First time to the Gold Rush. We were seated right away. The server was quick to greet us. Took a drink order right away. I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs and 1/4 chicken with green beans and corn on the cob. I loved my ribs and chicken. I thinks the green beans may have been from a can but I actually liked them. I typically don't. Corn on the cob was pretty good. It could've been better was very edible. Corn bread was delicious. I had 2 draft that were great and only costed $1.49 each. Overall we had a very good experience and will definately be going back. It was a good value.

Decently priced, amazing service from the waiter, good food. I personally had some of the fried pickles, the brisket, and key lime pie. Very good experience. They offer sugar free sauce alternatives which I also thought was really cool. Expansive menu. Affordable and multiple dessert options. Cool wood cabin ambiance.
