Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs

I ordered the steak, cheese, mushroom sub. There was very little meat at all, and only a few mushrooms. It was basically a greasy, cheesy bread folded in half. Never again.

Stop using door dash as your drivers. This is going to wrong address multiple times a month is redundant. Go back to having actual drivers that speak English.

love the food, but you lost a customer tonight. only got half my order. was told the rest is on the way. 3 hours later still no food. called back again and was told oh yea, uh I just credit you the difference. there are way too many pizza places in town that actually deliver your order, on time and not forgotten.

The pizza was very good this time and always liked their pizza. But it's the workers one time they did not answer the phone, I called twice no answer so I went there no one came out for a few minutes and door was open. I asked if everything was ok and still no answer. I said I was calling the Police ten a thin black haired girl finally came out. I said I didn't want their pizza now. Something was strange to me. I'm 85 and think the manager should know unless she was back there to.

I love going on and seeing people put bad reviews just because they think they can get something for free of make a company look bad. This Venice store and the Sarasota store are 2 of the best places to get your normal pizza. The people are nice the owners are fantastic never do I ever go in this store and get bad service period. I always always get my pizza either here in the Venice store of if I’m near Sarasota I’ll get it there. Thanks for all the great work you and ur employees do. Keep up all the great work

Bought from this Hungry Howies numerous times and the pizza is always so good!! The other location in Venice pales in comparison in terms of quality and service. Thank you guys, my partner and I appreciate you all :)

Two nights in a row, I called this location to order cheesy bread, the best item on their menu. Both nights, they failed to deliver. The first night, they simply forgot my cheesy bread, delivering my husband’s wings. When I called to ask about it, they said it was too late to deliver and apologized. The second night, they told me I had to order two cheesy breads to qualify for delivery. I ordered one cheesy bread and one pepperoni pizza, but only received the pizza—no cheesy bread again. When I called, the employee claimed to be the manager, receptionist and cook and said she clearly explained to me that I would only be receiving a pizza. This is obviously not true, but she was insistent that I was wrong. I explained that for the second night in a row the whole reason I ordered was for the cheesy bread. The Manager then indicated that I would need to order two cheesy breads at full price if I wanted cheesy bread delivered. I then called the North Port location, and they were able to deliver one order of cheesy bread without any issues. I highly recommend you call the North Port location. The Venice location is both incompetent and rude.

Just ok. Very good price, so I should have not expected a great pizza with lots of toppings. Five people waiting for pick up, but they must have known better than me. We arrived 10 minutes early for our pie and it was sitting on the oven. Got home, 3 minute drive and it was not even warm. I will gladly pay extra for a different place to try next. Sorry, do not recommend.

Last two times we ordered it tasted old stale flavorless. I'll never order from here again. Ever. I called and was given a ten minute speech on how they prepare it, season it cook it etc but no admittance to the fact it's old. I know old pizza when I see it. Never again

You can't go wrong with Hungry Howie's. I love their pizza. Maybe I'm a little biased because I used to work for them lol. But their ranch crust is amazing. I was very happy with the service as well. Always a pleasure

I asked for bacon, it was 4$ for toppings, asked for it to be removed, The little boy, I would say man but no man acts so childish it’s honestly embarrassing. It was very rude, Out of place for explaining to me how much the bacon was. The place real ghetto you can’t even dine in you have to eat in the parking lot. I DONT RECOMMEND GOING!!
