Jim and Michelle are like family friends, after all these years of delicious breakfast recipes and great, loving service! Come for the kielbasa and stay for a hearty tall stack of their incredible pancakes! Food and service was great, you get your monies worth. Many things on the menu l would like to try next time. I am going to try their biscuits and gravy, and corn beef hash, some people rave about it

Any time that we are over from Ireland we drop in with Lynne and Brian for breakfast...Food ...staff...and Jim (don't forget the main Man) are Excellent...Great place for breakfast if you are in the area

Came here for the first time. My husband had the special Crab Cakes Benny and I had, on Jim’s recommendation, the huge pork chop and eggs. Best Crab Cakes Benny ever and best, most tender and flavorful Pork Chop Ever.Our server Jen couldn’t have been any sweeter and helpful. Thank you Jen.We were so hungry…. I forgot to take pictures of our actual food. Ooooops. LOL

If you have the chance to stop by this place don’t. Had the misfortune of sitting next to the owner and could here is loud conversation and how he spoke to his staff. The food was fair to poor biscuit and gravy was like wallpaper paste over cardboard and the pancakes were hot and could taste the grill is not being cleaned properly. ONLY bright star was our server Jenny would hire her if I have a place she was polite and helpful so drive past past every time even if it’s the only place open

Took my son for his birthday breakfast. The waitress was amazing. The place was full and she handled it by herself. When people walked in they were greeted with a smile and coffee. As for our breakfast it was ok. I know the cook was busy but I would suggest he needed help with food. Eggs were not cooked sent them back. Saw a few items sent by other people back. Would try again in future

Excellent innovative good home cooking. Reasonable prices.waitress friendly and fun to talk to, knew the menu backwards and forwards. If your hungry here is the place for breakfast.

Each time we have come here the owner has been there and greets the customers - mostly regulars. The servers are also very friendly. We come here for breakfast and they typically have very good and interesting specials which we have enjoyed.

Jim Ohara's Cafe was our first find when we came to Venice. Great homestyle food and friendly service. Jim will often visit your table and welcome you personally. Michelle is a favorite waitress.

This restaurant is run by the owners daughters. It is filthy. It stinks like old, old grease. This place is for single old gentlemen. I will never step foot in there again. Luckily, there are so many more CLEAN places to eat.....that serve TOAST with breakfast.

A tucked away little gem. Breakfast was excellent. Good coffee. Waitress very friendly. Food prepared and served quickly. Definitely worth repeating.

Stopped in for breakfast today. Ordered corned beef hash, poached eggs, home fries and added gravy. The gravy was the best ive had in Venice. Homemade like my grandmas sausage gravy. The eggs were poached perfectly and the home fries were seasoned perfectly. The server ran the show with a smile. She was busy and smiling the whole time. Great service. My coffee stayed full and hot. Very nice start to my day. Thank you!

Jim 'Hara is a friendly guy, who shares a bit of conversation, when the restaurant is busy, but more time, if it's not. Items, from the past, are hung on the wall, throughout the Cafe. The food selection is just what you would expect, from a local area restaurant. Omelets, egg dishes, French toast, and more. Lunch is served there, as well. All tasty, and reasonably priced. Tables or counter space. Our young waitress server was pleasant, and personable, with a smile for everyone. Love the home town vibe.
