We are from the Chicago land area and miss the great food from up there. Joey D's has great Chicago style choices for everyone. The inside has Chicago sports memorabilia and is very spacious.
We visit here often and get different items all the time.

This review is based on the credit card usage fee. They charge 3% for using a credit card to help “offset” processing costs but fees are business tax write offs so this fee is pure profit.

The pizza was okay - a little flavorless, but a healthy amount of toppings. However, I was irritated by a 3% surcharge for credit card transactions. This policy helped kill the BBQ restaurant in Nokomis. I have to believe that 80+% of your customers pay with credit card, just build the interchange fees into the menu prices. The negative sentiment created by the restaurant’s policy is not insignificant. I am less likely to order from here in the future due solely to this policy.

Nice place! Staff was friendly and attentive. We got the famous deep dish and had good flavor buy under cooked and onions were cut very large and raw onions and hard to eat.
