We stopped in for lunch. The gentleman that waited on us was very inviting and friendly. I had the lunch special $14 for 2 tacos and tamal. I chose carnitas (pork) and the tamal was shredded chicken. My meal also came with rice or bearn or mixture of both. I got the mixture. The beans were very flavorful. The tacos were packed with meat, and the tamal was big. Definitely a value at $14. Delicious!! Definition of hidden gem.

Come here with in-laws every time we visit Venice; the restaurant tucked away in the back has some of the most delicious tacos with rice+beans I've ever had. Never had a bad meal here!

The sign waving guys got me in there otherwise I prolly would have missed it. Nice menu with many protein options including tripe & beef cheeks. Treat yourself to some yummy food and you won’t be sad you did!
