The food was just okay and it was a terrible value. The $19 crab cakes appetizer included two mushy cakes that were a few tablespoons of food at most. Sadly, the service was terrible too.

The food is pretty good and the prices are good to. Good variety and casual dining. Give it a try. After COVID there prices went up reasonably and the food stayed the same. Other places raised prices quit a bit and the quality and quantity went down. Worth a try.

We went Saturday before happy hour ended. Our waitress was adorable, Tricia!The martini was small but good! I had a blood orange margarita. Not small.Coconut shrimp was great. Trigger fish with gumbo not so much. But we will be going back there is an extensive menu!

Left Coast Seafood is our favorite restaurant in Venice. We have visited Venice from the northern USA for years. The meals and drinks are reasonably priced and the service is always top notch - despite the fact that the establishment is usually busy. We look forward to “Oyster Wednesday.” Also, the coconut shrimp is delicious. My favorite entree is the coconut encrusted snapper with rum sauce. My husband loves the fried oysters. They do a good job with the margaritas, too.

I haven't returned to this restaurant for 20 years. It's still awesome and the same owner too. If you get there before 5pm there's an earlier specials menu at half the normal prices! I understand my man will retire after 50 years and his Daughter will take over... CONGRATULATIONS!

Lived in this area since 1986. Think this place has THE best seafood for THE best prices. BONUS: one of the few (if any) remaining restaurants that actually serve HOMEMADE salad dressing too! Just had the swordfish "to go"...weird as this sounds, the manager was so personable she made something as mundane as ordering food "to go" a bit of fun! Won't go anywhere else for seafood!

UPDATE: we went back there yesterday because we wanted good seafood before leaving. Once again, Left Coast did not disappoint. Honestly, it is the only restaurant out of the many we tried that I am sad to leave.Original: By far, the best seafood we’ve had since we’ve been in the area. Our group had oysters, grilled shrimp, fried shrimp and fried catfish and fried cod. The catfish and shrimp had a thin batter. Was very good. The grilled shrimp were still juicy. The beer batter cod sandwich was huge and the best fish sandwich that I’ve probably ever had.

We hadn't been to Left Coast in a while. We finally just started getting back to eating out. Service is still terrific. We had the all you can eat shrimp and it was wonderful. All the employees were super friendly. If you have never been there you have to go and try it!
I have eaten here several times. Today it was very warm in the dining room and the waiters were very hot and sweaty. Kind of ruins an appetite. I asked the waitress if the AC was broken and she said no that the owner always keeps it warm.

Stopped in for some good priced seafood and oysters on the half shell. They were the cheapest in the area and were good. Had the Red fish and seafood Gumbo and it was wonderful. The waitress was really good and have a good time cracking jokes with me and my family. Tuesday was all you could eat shrimp as well and was told by my brother that the fried shrimp was the best he had ever had. Would definitely go back.

6/9/22Thursday night fried clams.What a total disappointment, $23. For a “whole” fried clam dinner. The dinner was 95percent clam strips. Overcooked, dried out, no belly’s.This is the second time this has happened at left coast. Thought, give them a second chance. Well we did, but it will certainly be our final visit.Shame on you left coast, how dare you plate such a inferior dinner and serve it to your customers.
