Fine French Fusion dining at it's best. Chef Longet is a master at preparing mouth watering cuisine. Romantic/Intimate atmosphere.
We went with a large party and ordered A LOT of menu items. Every single one was fantastic! So flavorful and cooked perfectly. Chef Steve knows what he is doing!

Longet is a high end restaurant in Venice with a cozy and beautiful atmosphere. The meals are purely made with care and the service is superb, excellent, and accommodating. Reservations are a must.
The creative menu features a mix of flavor combinations from French to Greek to Asian. As expected from a French chef, the sauces are on point. Specific dishes praised include the fantastic scallops risotto, with scallops that are tender and melt in your mouth. The Beef Bourginon is to die for. The pan seared Duck breast with Porto sauce is delicious, as is the triple tail with citrus buerre blanc. The lamb shank is cooked perfectly. For dessert, the chocolate creme brûlée and fruit tart are amazing and spectacular, though popular ones can sell out.
The wine selection is great. Some minor improvements are noted, such as the Caesar salad lacking a little flavor and the bread service. It is recommended to check menu prices if on a budget. Guests are never disappointed and find it one of the best restaurants in Venice and Sarasota, looking forward to returning again.
