Chloe, our hostess that seated us was the sweetest young lady you’d ever want to meet. Her cheerful demeanor and sweet, soft voice was so inviting. And then to top off our breakfast visit we had Michelle, who was over the top friendly, informative and again so welcoming. She visited our table multiple times to ask us if everything was ok, which it was. I would recommend visiting the Metro Diner not only for a friendly atmosphere and friendly staff but also a superb breakfast experience.

I've been to Metro diner many times, the server(Amy) never greeted us with her name. I only found her name from the final check. Never talked about specials or what soups they offer. Our food was mediocre at best. Burnt hash browns on the bottom, my wife San Francisco Benedict had black avocado and old tomatoes. I could see that the kitchen was short-staffed with both the salary managers on the line cooking. I expected better food and service.

We went for breakfast this morning and it was such a great experience that we went back for dinner! It did not disappoint and the service is great We enjoyed and be back again tomorrow for breakfast Great prices too !

We enjoy Metro Diner and usually have great service. Since it's in front of the theater, we usually make it our stop before going to a movie. The one thing I do wish they would improve is their pancakes. You can see that they make a bunch of them ahead of time and stick them under a heat lamp. It causes them to be rubbery.
Update: Tonight when we ate there on the way to the movie, I asked our server and she said that the pancakes are now made for each order instead. They did seem to taste much better.

I would give 6 stars if I could. I have been here several times. Everything I have ever had here tasted amazing. Today was so lovely I felt compelled to leave a review. 10/10 would definitely recommend. Chicken, waffles, burgers, ribs, meatloaf and chicken sandwich are all great.

The best part about coming here, was leaving. The place was freezing, the food was terribly overcooked and the bacon looked like Beggin strips for dogs. Why would any sane person serve someone fried chicken that is almost black, and clearly burnt! Go somewhere else!
