I have been dining at Mi Pueblo in Venice since the 90s but, after my experience last night, I may not be a return customer. I've found that, like all other restaurants, prices have increased, however, at Mi Pueblo the sides have also been removed with these increases. Even the quality of the chips served with the salsa is decreased. When inquiring about a $9.00 charge on our bill for a VIRGIN mojito and suggesting customers be informed of the cost ahead of time, a manager merely informed me that "Some people don't like to be told what things cost " i know if I was ordering several of these, I would most definately want to know how overpriced they were. We have other very good Mexican restaurants in our area that don't have an elitist attitude, I suggest you search them out.

Had the burrito with the sour cream sauce at the Venice location. Not much flavor and very dry. Needed a whole lot more sour cream sauce on top to make it less dry. And maybe that would help with the flavor. It also did not come with any sides like refried beans either. The chips were tasty but they didn't come with any salsa!!! Just a dry burrito with a small amount of sour cream sauce tasty chips without salsa. Disappointing. Wonder if the other locations do a better job?

First the positives, good atmosphere and service. Busy for a Tuesday night in July. Rice and beans were good. Margarita was just okay, a little weak. Tried combination plate to sample several dishes, all pedestrian. Preferred Pineapple Tequila across Tamiami in Venice.

Great food, great service, great place. I would recommend it to anyone. The price it’s not bad for the quality and amount of food.

Great food and service, the staff was very attentive without being annoying. The number of cars in the parking lot was an indicator of what people think of the place, it was full to capacity on a Monday evening.

This was one of the worst restaurants in town . Food was terrible and the service wasn’t great either. We went there today to see if had improved. Our last meal there was awful.

Great place, lively, excellent food and on Wednesday evenings a Mariachi band. It was buzzing whereas other places were reasonably quiet.

Mexican (American) restaurant very large and crowded. We had to wait a while to get a table. Food and prices average.

Ended up in Venice and looked for a dinner spot. My husband and I had an impromptu date night and I’m so glad we ended up here!!! We had the table side guacamole, and taquitos to start I had fajitas and my husband had a combo and we had the fried ice cream. We will be back!!!

Mi Pueblo could give a master class in running a successful restaurant: Offer fresh, delicious food; amazingly fast service; and a laser-like focus on customer satisfaction. My sister and I dined there on a busy Saturday night after a long day of shopping. A busser brought chips and salsa as soon as we sat down, and our server delivered menus and took our drinks order right afterward. Less than five minutes later, our shrimp avocado salad and shrimp taco salad arrived. The speed of service didn’t hamper the quality or taste of the wonderful entrees. While we enjoyed a leisurely chat as we ate, our server checked in several times — very unobtrusively — to make sure we were enjoying our meals and see whether we needed anything else. The manager also stopped by to thank us for coming. We greatly appreciated our Mi Pueblo experience and are convinced the restaurant appreciated our patronage.
