We always go to the Taphouse after a round of golf and usually have good food and service. Unfortunately, after today not sure our large group will return. We had a question about the automatic tip charge . Our waitress ( who is the manager) said she was training someone and divided our group up. We explained we had never been charged a tip. She told us if we don’t like it don’t come back. We were shocked and couldn’t believe our ears.For a place that is mediocre there are many other options, where a customer feels valued.

Don’t bother if you have any sort of food allergy! Prima Donna cook can’t even be bothered to put a piece of foil on the grill to cook a burger and actually told the poor waitress “I don’t even know why she would bother to come here”. The rest of our table had burgers that were severely over cooked and dry. The homemade chips were all burnt and inedible. The only bright spot was Tracy - she did everything she could. Will never go back!!
This is our favorite place to eat when we visit each winter. Tots are so good! Walnut salad is excellent with salmon.Servers are all great, especially Tracy who always makes sure we are taken care of-even knowing what we want to drink and has it ready when we walk in!

Typical tavern atmosphere but service was stellar and the smoked wings fantastic. I've had wings like that before (albeit rarely) and these are the best I've ever had. They even best the Hickory Tavern in North Myrtle Beach. I'm a bit of a wing snob so that's saying quite a bit. Still not as good as Leftys in Erie,

We come in all the time and this one time 1 waitress was working on a Sunday around 2pm was clearly sinking in orders and customers not swimming . Back of the house usually is on point but burnt the hell out my grub chips we get Everytime chips were soggy and cheese was cold served to us. Made sure we were attended Last it seemed like . Had a 30 min wait and we were ok with that and even said it's gonna be 10 mins before I can even place your order we said that perfectly fine . Forgot to place our order .......
