We are locals visiting from Tampa for the day. We stopped by today, Saturday, 12/6 around 1:30pm. We have never dined here and we’re excited to try. Unfortunately we were approached by a young girl with dark hair who was very unpleasant. She seemed very annoyed that we were placing an order and not picking up. As soon as she rolled her eyes we knew this was not the place to stay. We did not want to inconvenience her or the other two girls who were all just standing around. We were the only ones in line. We walked out immediately. I will be posting this experience on other platforms and telling others. This is an unacceptable way to treat new customers.

My first visit to Obee’s. I asked google to help me find a place to get a salad. So I followed directions to Obee’s 🙂 I decided on a seafood salad wrap. It was very good. The service was quick and I was lucky to get there when I did. A popular busy lunch place in Venice. I walked in and within 5 minutes the line was to the door.

We were introduced to Obee's while visiting family that lives in Venice, and now we make it a point to eat there whenever we're visiting. This time we ate there twice during a week. Their bread, meats and condiments and salads are fresh and their subs taste like the best New England subs!

When I've been in the Venice area I go to Obee's every chance I get. I was introduced to the Pt. Charlotte deli back in the early 2000s and have been a fan ever since. Hands down the softest bread around. Wish there was still one here in Sarasota, but... Great sandwiches!!
Small sandwich shop with a limited menu. Its similar to subway but not as many options. The sandwiches are delicious and refreshing. The staff was very nice and courteous. The place was clean and it was quiet. Will definitely go back when im in this area again.
