Parise’s. Espresso Bar, Cannoli and Italian Street Foods.

I saw Parise’s on The Sarasota View and decided to drive from Sarasota to Venice to try their cannoli’s and coffee for breakfast. The coffee is amazing. Much better than Starbucks and less expensive. I had a pumpkin mousse and New York cannoli. Unbelievable. They also had Sicilian , cheesecake and peanut butter cannoli’s available as well as other pastries. I took one of their “bowls” home for lunch. Delicious. The husband and wife team are cordial and delightful. There is some outside seating under the trees. I most highly recommend going for some very delicious food. They have many other lunch dishes. Check their Facebook page for hours and the changing daily menu.

I have to give a negative review to this street vendor of Italian coffee and pastries. I was expecting to find the authentic taste of Italy, but I was deeply disappointed. The coffee was bland, and the pastries seemed industrial, nothing like real Italian products.The most disconcerting thing is that the vendor pretends to be Italian, but it is evident that he is not. Not only did he not know the difference between a real Italian espresso, but his pastries were miles away from Italian tradition.

Parise’s has the BEST coffee, the BEST cannolis, and the BEST EVERYTHING. I no longer live in FL, but when I visit, Parise’s is at the top of my list of places to go…because where ya gonna go? Michael Parise is an amazing man with a wonderful family and he’s got a special talent when it comes to food, coffee, and service. I can’t recommend trying Parise’s enough. I know you’ll go back after that first visit again, and again, and again, and again, and again.

Googled "Coffee chop in Venice" and happened upon this place. We totally thought we were in the wrong place as we turned the corner, but nope, here we are. Parked in the ample free parking. Outside of a kitchy little flea marketish type thing... Ordered an iced tea and cold brew with cream. Delicious. Ordered the Fat Clemenza and the chicken cutlet sandwiches plus a sausage roll. OMG.... They warmed up the sausage roll and it was amazing. Italian sausage with a super flaky pastry. Clean outdoor dining area plus it is shaded. I could go on and on but to end this review... you need to go here. Meet Michael and his family. To encompass the day... I get Fridays off, and I did NOT want to spend my Friday traveling and hour and a half to meet a relative. THIS.... made my day and made it worth it. Thank you Parisie's. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing! 12/10 recommend the sandwiches and pastries. Makes them right on the spot, everything made by hand! Will be getting coffee next time! Owner is so nice as well!
