PRIME Serious Steak Venice

Big disappointment. Drinks came out wrong 2x. Filets were listed as 6oz came out 3oz. Sauteed onions were cold. Waitress tried her best but drinks even came out wrong. We still loved the popovers!

Very disappointed in the service and food quality. Waited over an hr for food and then when I finally did get my food it come out wrong so I sent it back to be fix and then it came out wrong again. So after waiting 2hrs the manager Jackie came over to say I had a large company event upstairs and that’s why it took so long. Meanwhile, people after us which happens to be her friends that said right behind us got their food before us and they had steaks as well so I’m not really for sure what the mixup was or what happened, but she didn’t really give a sincere apology or really cared at all. Definitely will not be back

We were at the steak house on Tuesday December 9th. Our server was Darren he was great. Food was fantastic. Thanks your friends from Toronto.

The food was not as good as their Port Charlotte location. Service was good though.

It was our first time. We went for lunch as we both don’t have big appetites. It was amazing. We both had the French Onion Soup. It was Delian’s was a meal in itself. They use their popovers for the bread in it and they were delicious. I had the appetizer calamari, the chili glaze has a kick but delicious. My dad had the Parisian burger and it was cooked perfectly. We both had boxes to take leftovers home! Toni, our server was wonderful and gave us a history on the restaurant. I forgot to mention we started with a drink and I was delighted with the Prime Cosmo. It comes served with a smoke bubble. Great presentation, so much so a patron at an adjoining table saw it and ordered one. We will return

We arrived on Sunday (8/10) afternoon to a short 10-minute wait. There were plenty of empty tables. After being seated, we waited 20 minutes without being acknowledged by any of the several staff members who walked past us. I eventually went to the hostess stand to ask her to let our server know we were seated. I saw her speak to our server, point toward our table, and then return. After another 10 minutes with no contact, we decided to leave. Our waitress was a young woman with long curly hair that was not pulled back. As we were leaving, I told the hostess “thanks anyway,” and she simply said, “Sorry about that.” Businesses can’t complain about being slow during the off-season if they let paying customers walk right out the door.

Went to get the 2 for $50 that they advertise online. The restaurant opened at 12:00 on Sunday and we were ready to order, the waitress said that the 2 for $50 started at 3pm, I told her that they don’t advertise that online which was okay. Then my wife said if it was advertised then we would have gone to a different restaurant, the waitress Becca very rudely said YOU STILL CAN. Wow my wife was absolutely shocked that a waitress would talk to a customer like that and said back to the waitress that she’s love to speak to a manager. At that time the manager came out saying that the waitress said we were yelling about The 2 for $50 special (which was a lie) then when the manager came out the waitress was yelling calling us rude which was also a lie. Becca needs reprimanded or fired. I will never visit this place again. I really loved PRIME but WOW is all I can say….

This place is always busy and I've been there a number of times. This time, took advantage of summer special. Sirloin perfectly cooked as was broccoli, but both had a lot of salt. My one complaint about Prime is the noise level. Always really loud in there.

First time. Went tonight for our anniversary. service and food was outstanding! Not disappointed.

We went on March 30, 2025. As we always patron the bar, they were short staffed. Kate did an incredible job with a full bar and taking care of the whole place. Devin, Felice, and Kurt took over. The service continued to be spot on. The whole place was packed with standing room only. We went light with soups and salad. Just perfect. It was a great night and socializing with the patron.

The staff was amazing! Amanda was the best server we have had in years! Food was great, especially the Lobster Bisque with real lobster in it! Pop overs were delish! I highly recommend the Espresso Martini.
