My friend suggested we try out this restaurant today and it certainly was a good choice! We had the fish (cod) and chips, the fish was nice and flaky with a lovely beer batter. Fries were great and the homemade coleslaw very nice. Topped it off with "real" key lime pie. A lovely experience and we will be returning. Service was very good with Eric and Jim. Thank you!

Wonderful seafood place. Fresh seafood is used, never frozen. One of the few places that does seafood correctly. Hopefully their business will prosper so they can update the outside appearance. Don't judge the book by the cover, go on inside and enjoy. Desserts by Kim are phenomenal.

I went with a friend for a late lunch on Sunday as per her suggestion. She had fish and chips for the second time. I had black coffee, blackened haddock, broccoli, and a baked potato with butter. I often struggle to eat out because I have a sensitivity to preservatives. I did not have any reaction after eating here and plan to come back. The staff was attentive without being intrusive.

Mahi tacos were ok at best. The blackening spice was really nice, the cole slaw on top was tasteless, watery, and seemed like Publix cole slaw, drippy and boring, that's it, that's the meal...with a couple of soft taco shells and a weird blue taco holder on the plate. Just boring. Whole belly clam roll was just ok, skimpy on the clams and they were most likely pre-breaded and frozen, the onion rings were straight out of the freezer, the potato chips were yummy. Interesting to call a restaurant a tavern and have no beer on tap and very few local beer selections. I would give this restaurant another try, but it's far too expensive to be possibly disappointed again. The staff and owners are wonderful. I can't imagine trying to operate a restaurant in this economic climate.

Kind of a dive bar/fish joint look from the outside, but it definitely didn't disappoint. Staff was friendly, the owner visited our table, the food was on point, and portions were overly generous for the price point. 10/10

The only thing good was service. Shrimp tacos were very sparse with small frozen shrimp and a spoonful coleslaw, that’s it. Fish and Chips tasted like they were out of a frozen bag. Prices are outrageous.

Came here on a whim, and truly an amazing experience. Between the service provided (I believe her name was Mel, please forgive me if not) the food I wasn’t expecting to order but sounded too tempting only because I came in not so hungry but the smell of the food lured me in! (proved to be THE RIGHT move) and the good people who surrounded me I would 100% recommend this establishment. I fully intend on supporting the business and the people whom they’ve employed. These are good people and deserve your hard earned money because they work hard for you. Thank you.

We stopped in here today on our way from Fort Myers. This place doesn’t look like a lot on the outside but LET ME TELL YOU - the parking lot was packed when we go there at 1:30 on a Sunday. The inside is completely renovated and modern. There was one server working to wait on all the tables in the restaurant and honestly - I don’t know how he did it. We barely waited and we ate quickly! We tried the sleeve of gulf balls, original grouper sandwich and the grouper Ruben sandwich. We were blown away by everything. Every sauce tasted fresh. The pickles on the original grouper appeared to be house made and everything was HOT. I am a foodie and a good cook. I have never thought about making a fish - based Ruben and I can tell you, I’ll be dreaming of it from here on out. I can’t say again enough how impressed we were. If you’re in the area- STOP HERE and eat! The only reason we found this place was from other google reviews so I wanted to leave one today to be like “that’s accurate”. Great place.

We walked in at 3pm on Sunday and asked if the restaurant close at 5 PM since no one else was in there and the waiter said yes. I just looked up on Google maps it says close at 7 PM on Sunday as I am doing the review.
The food was mediocre. Had to bring home a meal for the kid so ordered a burger to go. Total came up $49. Gave the waiter $53. He came up to us short after and demanding a bigger tip. Gave him additional $5 for the tip and walked outside the woman owner came up apologizing for this guy’s behavior. This guy’s name is Eric.
