We went in between the lunch and dinner crowd and it was so nice. The lady who was our server knew about which sides had dairy and gluten in them so i could avoid them. Even with the small selection it was perfect and the ribs looked really nice.

Stopped on Friday January 26 2024 at about 6 PM. Several years ago, this place used to be packed. The food was also really good. The restaurant was less than half full the entire time we were in it. I ordered the The Big Fish Sandwich -" Hand-breaded and fried to a golden brown served on a large bun with lettuce, tomato, and housemade tartar sauce". I was asked if I wanted lettuce and tomato and I answered yes. It came without either. When asked about the daily specials, the waitress didn't know so yelled to another waitress to get them. The fish tasted like it was cooked in old grease. It did not have any fish flavor, only a bad batter taste. The wife had the ribs and pulled pork combo. The ribs were good but the pulled pork didn't have much flavor. We were never asked how the meal was, if anyone wanted more coke/water. A fork that came wrapped up in a napkin was dirty. Didn't see the waitress so went to another table to get one. When it came time for the check, we waited for it for over 15 mins. and never saw the waitress. Finally went up to the counter to get it. There were 4 people standing around. I told them that the waitress should probably find a different career. This got a chuckle and a nod from some of them. Anyway they had to go and find her. It still took a few minutes for her to show up. Given the food and service, we will no longer stop at Rib City to eat.

We've been going to this Rib City for several years but our recent experience has us going elsewhere now. The hamburger we ordered medium was well done, no lettuce, no tomato, just an overcooked slab of meat on a bun. The full rack of ribs which I've ordered many times before was tiny, probably half the size of normal, overcooked, and dry. Not only that the 15-20 minute takeout wait turned into more like 35 minutes. Any one of these things by themselves wouldn't have been a big deal, but when you put it all together we were very disappointed.

Something has happened at RIB CITY and it isn't good. The last several times my rack has been charred and meatless. There appear to be less people eating there. We have been good clients for years, but today was the last time for us. The beans for the baked beans were substituted. This has been an on going problem. You just lost good steady customers. Amazing place! We are from Kentucky and missed BBQ so decided to try and we were not disappointed. The waitress recommended the "farm" which is the cheese fry app with buffalo chicken strips on them. Phenomenal! We had a half order with the spicy ranch. Half order was more than enough for us and so delicious! The baby back ribs are next level along with the sliced pork. We had the green beans and cole slaw as well and both did not disappoint. 10 out of 10 and we will be back!

A Culinary Delight Not to Be Missed!My visit to Rib City was a memorable feast for the taste buds! I opted for the Full Rack of Baby Ribs and was absolutely delighted. The ribs were cooked to perfection – crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. Simply divine! I also had 0.5 lb of Pulled Pork, which impressed me with its smoky flavor and melt-in-the-mouth texture.For sides, the Garlic Toast and Fries were fresh and crispy, just as one would hope. But the standout among the sides for me was the Macintosh Cheese. Creamy, cheesy, and utterly irresistible!To top it all off, I chose a cool cola, which was the perfect complement to the savory dishes. The atmosphere at Rib City was welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.All in all, it was a culinary highlight that I would recommend to anyone. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
