Had the rudest phone call I’ve ever experienced with a business as I tried to inquire about Easter brunch reservations. Wanted to try the restaurant, but after the treatment of a very polite future customer over the phone, I’ll unfortunately never go. Have never been treated so poorly, especially as a customer seeking to spend $100s.

We went to this restaurant last Wednesday with my husband. We ordered bruschetta with ciabatta, but we received bruschetta on cold baguette and the taste was awful. The food doesn’t match description.When we left San Marco, my husband and I realized we had forgotten our sunglasses. I called 20 minutes after we left and was told by the hostess that there were no sunglasses. I called again in 20 minutes and asked again, answer was the same. It seems that our sunglasses were stolen by the server and the hostess.Watch your personal items there!

Arrived for a 5pm reservation and was immediately seatedLaurel our server was attentive and made suggestions. The specials menu had some unusual offerings. While a little pricey, salads are extra up charge for example, the diner was delicious. Worth the cost for a special occasion.

Service was terrible. Attempted to flag down wait staff for half an hour, zero attention was paid. Finally was able to ask one of the wait staff a question regarding a drink that was ordered, and was rudely dismissed. Food was mediocre and overpriced. Do not recommend.

A little noisy but great food. Always ask for the specials. The grouper with rissoto was delicious. Very accommodating servers especially with children. The hostess can be a little abrupt but the staff .made up for this shortcoming.

Pretty awful place. Bartender and bar service is pretty rude. Don't offer people to sit down and have a quick drink before close if you're going to complain about us being there. Definitely give your business to the other places on the strip.
Our dining experience at San Marco Restaurant in Venice, FL, was nothing short of spectacular. From start to finish, every dish we ordered exceeded our expectations. The escargot stuffed mushrooms, eggplant tower, stuffed flounder, grouper & shrimp, pasta dishes, and creme brulee were all prepared to perfection, showcasing the culinary expertise of the kitchen staff. We enjoyed a bottle their "winemaker of the year" selection.Brooke provided us with fantastic service. Additionally, the live music added a delightful ambiance to the evening, making it a truly memorable occasion for my family.Overall, we had a wonderful time at San Marco Restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking exceptional food and service in Venice, FL. It's undoubtedly deserving of a five-star rating.

Totally enjoyed this place last minute decided to eat there. We sat outside and it was enjoyable. Singer was awesome he sounded so good. really enjoyable atmosphere and service was excellent. Food was also excellent. Had escargot that was delicious and an eggplant stack that was out of this world. We had a big party everybody enjoyed the food and had no complaints.
