The busy Christmas Parade night brought us into the restaurant for a quick bite. Game to try a new joint but greeted poorly by the owner left a bad taste in our mouth; the main room had at least 4-6 four-top tables open but he said he'd only sit a 4 or 6 person party and we were 5. FORTUNATELY, one person in our group wasn't eating so he reluctantly sat us and grabbed an empty stool for her. We still decided to stay and made the right decision because our waitress saved our experience: she was kind, respectful and provided excellent service! Food was fine but the greeting schtick needs worked on to receive a return for us. Side note: Venice is NOT Miami -- which is exactly how it shouldn't be.

Food was amazing! The pot stickers were to die for ā we loved them so much we ordered a second round. The drinks were just as impressive, and our waitress (even though she was new) was absolutely fabulous. Great experience all around! Will definitely be coming back

The best ceviche, dry rubbed wings, firecracker shrimp, chicken tenders and sands frites(fries). I totally forgot to take pics before eating but as you can see everything was really good! Awesome place! Jim was great!!!

This was a serendipitous find for us after all the Mexican restaurants were overwhelmed on May 5. A small but lovely neighborhood pub and grub with fun drinks and delicious unique food choices. Not typical bar food at all! Try the Classic if you like seafood. It provides a wonderful blend of tastes and textures. Definitely try the fries and the house made ketchup with a touch of special spices, it's yummy. Prices were reasonable. The staff were so very friendly and welcoming, we felt like family immediately.

I would never recommend this place! The food was terrible & Iām not even sure how you mess up fried bar food! Owner is very rude! Shame too since we were excited to try the place out, hoping for a new hangout/sports bar. Best if you stay far away from here

Newer spot on the island. Great food. Ice cold šŗ. Friendly service! Enjoyed the Cheese Quesadilla. Nicely decorated and if you're a 'Sparty' fan there's always something to chat about. Stop by and enjoy!

Absolutely terrible place. Not family friendly. Judged my family as soon as we got there. Said if my kids werenāt going to behave they would be removedā¦threatening families before they even sit down.

Being from the Newengland area and have traveled the world I have always gravitated toward a restaurant like Cheers! Jim and his professional team has created an amazing environment with extremely delicious appetizers and entrees in that fashion. The beer is cold, the wine is quality and the cocktails are made to perfection. With chef Josh in the kitchen the presentation and taste of every entree is priceless. Regardless if you live here in beautiful Venice or visiting our lovely community Sands comes highly recommend from me and my family and friends! Cheers! Mark
