Seed and Bean Market (Venice)

The food was decent and a chill place, but when I went in, the waitress was rude. It was not even busy; she had one table and a guy at the bar. I was there to pick up food. I was waiting near the bar, and she walked by me twice without acknowledging my presence.

When I tried to get her attention by saying, “Excuse me.” She still did not talk to me; she just pointed her finger at me. When she finally came over, I said I was in a hurry because I was double-parked, and she said, “That's not my problem.”

It isn't her problem, but I was letting her know I was in a hurry. I don't think she needed to say anything, or at least maybe say it more politely. These are totally first-world problems, but it annoyed me.

Everyone has a bad day, and I'll give it another try, but it ruined my next half hour. Then I got over it.

The restaurant looks nice and the waiters are friendly but we waited almost 2 hours to get our food, even though it wasn't a busy day, they forgot a lot of things like cheddar on the omelet and toast

The food is so tasty. Well prepared with fresh ingredients. I had the Cuban and the breakfast burrito with an Americano. Delicious! We love it and so happy we stopped by. Our server is very knowledgeable and also glittery. Love it!

Awesome atmosphere with a really good menu! The food was delicious and the staff was super friendly, gave us great recommendations, and the chef even came out to check on us during the meal! As an aside-- their music was also 10/10

Food was really good and server was extremely nice. They are dog friendly and they have homemade treats that my dog loved. Overall it was a really nice place and the people there were super nice. Would highly recommend going.

I honestly don't understand how this place isn't absolutely packed on a daily basis. Great prices for great food and amazing drinks. Petersburg friendly and people friendly with awesome live music on the weekends! Don't let the Weed leaf scare you, give it a try! If this place was in downtown St. Petersburg, there wouldn't be an empty seat in the house! Bottomless Mimosas are truly bottomless, and the Cuban Breakfast Sandwich is absolutely amazing! Make sure you ask for Kiera at the bar, because she's the bomb dot com.

Went there at 9:30pm and they were closed. It says they're open until 10 pm. Drove out of my way to be disappointed. Please correct your hours of operation.

This was a such a great experience! The servers were so kind and welcoming and the drinks were delicious! And to top it off, I had to come back for more mahi fish dip the next day!

We had such a wonderful lunch outside today! Our server Jenny was wonderful so friendly and helpful!!! We will 100% be back!!

Tracy Grooters was our server and she was fabulous and friendly. The entire atmosphere was perfect and the coffee infused was so delicious. I will be back. Thank you Seed and Bean for making our Easter morning special!!

Really yummy food. Can highly recommend. Very close to the Centennial park, so easy to grab lunch here when you are at events in the park. Has plenty of seats inside, a few outside, and a community table that is both inside and outside. The brussel sprouts and sweet potato hash was very tasty. Many gluten free options.
