Seed and Bean is a cool little spot in Downtown Venice. I got an iced Cubano con Leche, and it looked like they had a great selection of CBD-infused drinks and foods.

This place is awesome. My new go to joint when in the downtown Venice area. The outside patio are is dog friendly!!!! All the staff there are so warm and welcoming. Love chatting with all the laides there. The food is really good and love that they have alcohol alternatives even bought a bottle of cbd. One of many that they sell in cafe. Gotta check this place out. Can take a cbd seltzer to go and hit the beach n chill. Seed and bean for the win. See you guys soon, Xoxo Mo

Let me just say….I’m not from the area, nor have I ever posted a negative review about any establishment, however, this review isn’t about the establishment, but of one of their employees.Stopped in for a simple frappe on a Saturday evening. There was a live band playing outside, and it was not too busy being that it was 8pm. When >Emma< handed me the order I asked - hey, do you have to go lids, not realizing that she had them in her other hand, but right then said “oh sorry, didn’t realized you had them…” Her exact response was to throw two straws at us! I’m not talking about a slightly frustrated toss - there was force behind it! ?And that wasn’t even the last bit !?She then stood at the register and made the “gun the her temple” motion and rolled her eyes! ?Maybe she was having a bad day, or MAYBE she was too high to care… either way, completely uncalled for, and she shouldn’t be out here in the service industry and that’s all I’m going to say.The frappe was good though! ???

This was our favorite restaurant our entire trip! The food was excellent- my over easy eggs were absolutely perfect. Our server was amazing, and made the great service look effortless. When we come back to Venice, this will be our first stop!

A hidden gem located in the heart of downtown Venice. Enjoy freshly made and on trend American cuisine with a hot made to order coffee beverage.
We have been eaten here 6 or 7 times. Always impressed by the excellent food preparation. The variety of choices is amazing. We have only come in for dinner. There is wonderful live music several nights per week. There is always a kind smiling face to greet us and help us feel at home. Emma is great behind the bar.

Place is usually great, but today we came in 40 minutes before close and EMMA not only asked us to be sure to be out at 3 o’clock 3 times, but was constantly rude throughout our whole time there. For example i mentioned something about the food and i get a rude remark: “thats how it is” with a rude look afterwards. We also overhear her say “im this close to closing this place up” right afterwards. Shouldn’t be working in customer service if you get mad tending to peoples needs.

These people are sad and pathetic employers. if I could give them less than one star I would. They hire people for an agreed upon pay rate, and then end their employment 3 weeks before Christmas without even notifying them and leave them and their family scrambling, because the "agreed upon pay is too much". 0 respect for the families or lives of their employees. I hope the owner of this business finds themselves scrambling to fight against homelessness right before Christmas in a few years.
