Walked in at noon and seated immediately, ordered an IPA on tap and the soft shell crab sandwich. 6 minutes later the food arrived and it was outstanding. Great service and atmosphere, will be back.

Ordered jambalaya this time. Fish was tough, they gave me a crawfish with it and you couldn’t even get the meat off the bone because it was so stringy and old. The andouille sausage was of the worst kind, not tender and had the hard casing on it. Very terrible. My prior meal there 2 months before this I had the boil with the with Cajun sauce. Absolutely no flavor and bland, so disappointing. This place has certainly gone downhill. Two times in a row with awful food, I am done with this place.

The Dude
Walked in about an 45 minutes before close and received our food in a timely manner.. once we found out the closing time we were actually pressured by staff to STAY instead of leave, they insisted it was no problem but me and my girlfriend didn't want to make the staff stay late. On our way out the manager/owner had a talk with us to make sure we didn't feel pressured to leave and to make sure we enjoyed the food... amazing place with amazing customer service... I would love to come back some day

The food was amazingly wonderful and our server, Teresa, was one of the BEST waitresses we have ever had. Friendly, attentive and ever-present for all of our needs. If anyone deserves the best of tips, it is her.
The restaurant itself was extremely clean, including the bathrooms, and the food was divinely seasoned and exquisitely prepared. All-you-can eat crab in Florida, at least here in Venice, is in short supply.
