This was my first time at Skillets but it will not be my last. The restaurant was clean, the staff were welcoming. My server Colleen was very helpful, she answered my questions with knowledge and was very accommodating. The manager Laura stopped by table and welcomed me. The food was scrumptious, I had the corned beef has, it was delicious, not from a can like most places. The scone of the day was chocolate chip. So yummy!

First time here new to the area service was great ! We had the potato pancake platter everything was cooked to perfection and the Texmex omelette was delicious the homemade strawberry scone of the day was light and fluffy ! Five star from start to finish we will definitely be back again !
We're new to the area and have quickly developed a strong like for this restaurant. It's nice to have Keto friendly options for those of us who want to manage our carb intake. Friendly staff with reasonably priced food. It can get busy, but they do a great job of keeping things moving. Relaxing environment and consistent comfortable experience.

Went to breakfast with the whole family and Laura V was our server. She was absolutely wonderful. Everyone enjoyed the food, the atmosphere was spectacular and service was the best we have had in a long time. Definitely will go back and ask for Laura!!!

We had an amazing first visit! We were warmly greeted by Laura at the host stand—she was sweet, welcoming, and absolutely charming. Then we were lucky enough to also have Laura as our server, and she went above and beyond to explain all the gluten-free options for my wife, including the special care the kitchen takes with dietary needs. On top of that, Deb, the General Manager, stopped by our table to personally introduce herself, welcome us as first-time guests, and check in on how everything was going. The food was incredible—especially the gluten-free biscuits and pancakes, which were some of the best we’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be back again and again!

Hands down, the best breakfast in Venice! Fresh, filling, and fun. The staff become family and always welcome conversation. The skillets are so good! I always get the Mediterranean with chicken. YUM! Doggos welcome on the porch. Scout loves Skillets!🐕

Stopped in for brunch today. Our server, David, was great—we were one of his first customers a couple of years ago, and we are always happy to see him. The food is consistently good.
Update: went today and the sercice was pleasant and much faster.

Service was slow, never a great thing when you are eating out with young children. The food was okay. It appears to have taken a step down since the last time that we have visited. I hope it was just an off day. We will try again in the Off Season to see if we have any better luck.
This was our first visit to Skillets in Venice, and we had a pleasant experience overall. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and very clean, which made for a nice atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, which we really appreciated.
As for the food, it was decent but not exceptional. The coffee tasted more like a store-bought tab brand and was a bit watered down. I had the biscuits and gravy, and unfortunately, I could taste the flour in the roux—it just was not my favorite. The food overall could have used a little more seasoning, but with salt and pepper on the table, that was easy to adjust.
The eggs, though, were cooked to absolute perfection—both my scrambled eggs and my husband’s over-easy eggs were spot-on. That was definitely the highlight of the meal.
It was an okay experience—good service, beautiful space, and a few hits and misses on the food.
Great biscuits and gravy, friendly staff, and delicious mimosa.
Great food but a bit pricey. Some of the best bacon I have probably ever eaten! Usually pretty crowded and usually a wait...but Great food and atmosphere.
