Our group of 19 reserved a private room at Skillets for our monthly breakfast gathering. What incredible service we received from start to finish (and our group was very particular)!! Donnie was an amazing waiter, upbeat, determined to get things right, and FAST. As the manager, Debbie capably handled our group with ease, and made us all feel welcome. The food was delicious, and we had a lovely time. Thank you!

Food was good
First time eating here. I chose Huevos Rancheros... because I love mexican food.
Mistake. Bland. Very dry. I feel bad for spending over $15 for terrible food.
Don't order it! I'm sure they're not mexican cooks, so I should've known they can't cook mexican food.
I should note, the photo of the menus on Google are outdated. It showed it would cost me $12.25... when it's now $15.50. I'm sure every price is wrong.

I have been going to Skillets for over two years. The food is consistently fresh and well prepared. The wait staff and kitchen staff make you feel like family and you are always greeted with a smile. Today I tried a new menu item, The Breakfast Burger, and it was hot and juicy! The lettuce was cold and crisp, the tomato flavorful....all topped with an avocado and fried egg on a pretzel bun. Pure heaven! Also, the portions are hefty and you get good value for your money. Real corned beef hash, too! Stop in, you will not be disappointed!

Visited twice during our recent visit from New York. Both times were very positive.
Even our grumpy relatives enjoyed everything!

We just moved here and went to Skillets for the first time and loved it. The food was delicious and our server David was awesome! So friendly and made delicious drinks!! We will definitely be going back.
Today I ordered two brisket sandwiches to go I asked for no bbq or coleslaw/ toppings. What did I see when I got home?? Two sandwiches with Cole slaw and pickle onion relish. Plus, 2 sides of bbq. Onion pepper relish. We are unable to eat them with the Cole slaw and onion pickle relish. The restaurant is now closed and I’m stuck with two sandwiches we can’t eat

My family and I were visiting from out of town. We had a dog with us so we sat in their outdoor area. Our waitress was very sweet but it was hard to find her at times when we needed assistance. I had one of their eggs Benedict and although my eggs were cooked perfectly, they and my cheesey grits just had no flavor.

I’ve been going to Skillets now for several years and it is one of my most favorite places to eat with people. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would no hesitation. Let’s talk details:
Food - while heavily influenced by the French culinary tradition, (aka big beautiful breads -like croissants- and buttery foods yum yum) Skillets offers a great spectrum of food favorites. Are you feeling like Breakfast? Then here’s a Belgian waffle so fluffy it barely fits your plate… Are you eating Keto? Try the Keto Skillet, it’s got four kinds of meat, cheese and eggs with fresh sliced tomatoes on the side. What about Lunch? Go for the Ruben sandwich, my mother loves it. For people who love salads it’s a great place to get one since they are generous with portions and ingredients. Want some Tex-Mex? I can personally vouch for the chicken quesadillas, the side salsa legit has chunks of tomato. There are some options for food sensitivities like vegetarian and vegan. They even serve a potato pancakes with chicken sausage dish for kosher minded persons. My sister and I love coming and drinking hot tea as they serve PG Tips brand. I haven’t tried everything on the menu but everything I’ve tried has been delicious. I also appreciate the many condiments, sauces and jams available because I can decide how sweet or spicy my food will be. Come hungry though, lots of food per dish.
Atmosphere - they are always busy so you’ll need to be ok with a lot of people around and possibly a short wait. Totally worth it though, they have seating indoors and outdoors. I sometimes come with a large group of people from Church and we reserve the group room which is lovely and has photos of the area and people in black and white. There’s also a bar stool “diner-like” seating for people wanting to sit near the kitchen which I personally think gives the place a great vibe. Sitting outdoors feels like you’re at a little cafe on vacation somewhere. Not at all a ‘fast food’ place but they do offer takeaway and door dash options.
Staff and Service - this is ultimately the greatest strength of the restaurant. Many lovely restaurants exist but Skillets is unique in the great service and staff they employ. Since I go there so often I’ve been able to meet and talk with many staff members and they will tell you what a great team they have. Most of the people treat each other like family and it’s really refreshing to see such a kind and healthy work environment in the culinary industry. Miss Deb is the manager and she is delightful, smart, funny and resourceful. She and her staff have made every experience I’ve had there be a five star review, even when they are busy in season. Some of the servers I’ve had are Coleen, Denise, David and Jennifer… that’s right they were all so good I remembered their names. If I wasn’t so impressed with them and wanting to give them reviews, I’d selfishly tell no one about my favorite little place to get away.
Thank you to the whole team, your service is so good that now you’re stuck with me.

My husband and I just moved to Venice and tried Skillets for the first time. I see many more breakfast trips here in our future! Can’t wait to bring family. The staff was so friendly, the food came out quick, and our breakfast tasted fantastic! We will be frequent customers now.
