Tried calling ahead but no answer. Website was also down. Decided to risk it and came in around 1pm on a Saturday, group of 3. Tables were full but only one server was working. Waited 5 mins before we saw the only employee and a table cleared up. Ordered a large pie and drinks. Food came out at a reasonable time and pizza was ok to decent between 3 opinions. I'd eat the pizza again personally. However the service left something to be desired. The one server was exhausted and obviously needs help, which I'm sure affected her demeanor. I think a family walked out waiting for service. Lemonade was way too sweet. There is a surcharge for using a credit card so we paid cash. The place also needs some repairs and could benefit from a deep clean.

I loved going here over the past 14 years and taking out of town guests. The food and ice cream treats are always so good. Pizza is especially good. Staff is friendly and works hard to please. I took guests twice this summer. That said, the ladies restroom desperately needs a remodel. I know it's old, but it looks like the floor hasn't been cleaned in months. I'm afraid this will keep people away from this wonderful spot, I know I won't bring guests here again unless I see an improvement.

My boyfriend and I are regulars at The Soda Fountain of Venice. We often get pizza, but have yet to find a menu item that we dislike. Everything is fresh, hot, and very tasty! We love the atmosphere with all of the decor, friendly staff, and overall are always pleased each and every time we go in. Dana, one of the waitresses, constantly goes above and beyond for us, is very friendly (no matter how busy it is!) and overall makes our day when we go in for lunch or dinner. The other staff members always makes us feel welcome when Dana isn't there (I'm so sorry but we didn't get your name - next time I'll be sure to ask!)
Long story short, we love it and always will!! Thank you, Dana, and the entire team for always taking great care of us when we come in. It is always a pleasure!

Food was very good, enjoyed that part of my experience. The service was terrible resulting in a less than pleasant experience. We were there for about 20 minutes before being greeted and were not offered any water. We saw the server Devyn maybe 3 times, all in which she was short and not friendly at all. We did also get charged automatic gratuity which was not disclosed to us. When we asked for the receipt, the payment machine was dropped at our table and we were told the total but no receipt was given and the server disappeared into the back the whole time we were paying (which was more than 10 minutes while trying to figure out how our bill came to be). It was not until we did the calculations that we realized that the tip was auto added. Coming from multiple people who have worked in the service industry, it should have been disclosed and we would not have had a problem with it. Also, when we did email receipt I never received it.

Food is excellent 2nd time here but they only have 1 server every time we came. Need to have more servers at one time as we waited 20 minutes before they even acknowledged us.

The Soda Fountain is a great place where you can sit at the counter to get a quick meal or just a Milk Shake or slide into a booth with a group. It’s a super casual place to stop. The service can be slow but seems like they understaffed.

Second time after bit dining here. Love the nostalgia.
Wife ordered a shake, delicious 😋 We shared the Godfather Pizza, fresh & delicious. A 16” was plenty.
Samantha provided excellent service, given how busy.
Be prepared to wait. If you are in a hurry, & it’s busy, may not be for you.

Authentic look, sound, and food in this small restaurant. A hidden gem near the festival area.

Ate lunch outside and ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and the “largest slice in town”. The fries and chicken sandwich were nice and crispy! Pizza was pretty good too.

Downhill. It's a shame. Don't know what they are doing or just don't want to do it. You have to manage the floor and you have to manage the attitude. You can't charge 27 bucks for a burger and a shake and not do customer service well.
