Ordered a half hour after they opened and they were still opening the store. Ordered a venti iced with a shot and a latte. Got there 10 min later and latte was done but not the venti. Watched her fill an empty cup (no shot), then ice, then more coffee. I asked her directly about the shot and she said it was in there. It wasn’t. No espresso despite paying for it.

Just visited this store today with my wife and although this is the one I normally bring her to, today we were met with a less than friendly man working the drive thru. The younger man with the prison ink tattoo of a spider on his neck, was very unpleasant. Quite a noticeable difference from the lady named “Fabulous” that we normally get. Might take a break from visiting this Starbucks until he finds a personality or is no longer employed there.

Sam had all the holiday cheer going today giving everyone all their little holiday drinks. She did an amazing job at the window, getting people through real fast and off to their holiday festivities merry Christmas to all and to all good night….

I ordered an Ice Matte and asked for light ice. In the end, I received a drink where 3/4 of the glass was filled with ice. When I approached the manager with a complaint and asked if it was normal to sell a drink that's 3/4 ice for $7, she didn't offer to remake the drink; she simply said that it was normal. Apparently, if I hadn't asked for light ice, they would have simply given me a full glass of ice.

The staff is very sweet, pleasant, and friendly, but they do need a bit more direction—especially during busy times. For example, today it felt like about 90% of their attention was focused on drive-through orders, while only about 10% was given to customers inside the store. This imbalance led to long wait (approximately 40 min for a cup of coffee) and a poor in-person experience. It’s important that both areas are managed fairly and efficiently so all customers feel valued.

Always delicious, staff always friendly. I appreciate that several of them remember regulars. It’s a small thing but it makes my day—especially when they remember my 94 year old father who is with me frequently!

This Starbucks has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The service is extremely slow, the staff seems uninterested and unprofessional, and the cleanliness of the place leaves a lot to be desired. Orders are never correct, and on top of that, the employees act as if you’re bothering them just by ordering. I ordered a Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino with heavy cream, and what I got was a cup full of ice, basically watered-down milk with bitter coffee — nothing like what I paid for. I’ve visited many other Starbucks locations and none have left such a terrible impression. I definitely do not recommend this place; there are much better coffee options in Venice where at least they respect the customer.
So busy this Saturday morning, staff rocked it. Super nice and smiles, even though they are clearly scrambling to make sure everyone gets their drinks quickly. Especially the worker who appears to be a manager or a shift lead. Thank you!!
