Came here to try the pizza and left. Very disappointed. A very soggy pizza and the whole place reeks of a tourist trap. The service was good so they get a point for that.

The restaurant itself is charming and very cutely decorated. I think the location is very nice as well with close proximity to many shops. However, the food was mediocre at best and overpriced for tourism. No free refills on drinks but they don't tell you that until they've given you the bill. The pasta may be hand made but it was not very good. Overall very disappointed in the experience.

geez if they would just try a little harder...For some reason Tastes of Italy chefs don't grasp the magnitude of serving left over pork...Osso Bucco Pork Shank specifically made ever 3 or 4 days is rarely served fresh...The problem is unless they know how to deal with Pork left in the refrigerator the Pork is going to pick up the smell of the fridge and start to degrade...Why not just cook 3 or 4 servings per day and serve it fresh? The other disappointment was the pesto...its terrible...and tastes like they get it out of a bottle...its not that hard to whip up fresh pesto in a cuisinart within 2 minutes...a bushel of basil, olive oil, 3 cloves of garlic, parmisian cheese and pine nuts or walnuts or macadamia nuts...very disappointing...

Bravissimo. First, get captured by the dreamy, delish Italiano autentico pizza with exacting pleasurable proportions of crispy, cheesy, and crusty. You’ll note and savor the quality of the obviously fresh toppings. In total every dish on the intelligent menu is a riff of the chef’s inspiration — prepared, presented and plated with a finesse. The superb and well-selected top-shelf bar and tasteful complex drinks will nail you. Decor and ambiance is artsy/earthy and leans romantic and seductive. Taste of Italy offers a refined rustic dining experience with a subtle decadence you will love.

The food is hit or miss. So I do not come here very often. Very happy they have vegan options and understand the meaning.

Had an opportunity to visit this restaurant yesterday for lunch. You have to try the meatballs, as an appetizer, either one of the best I’ve had. The bread is excellent, serviceservice is first class.

I don't go there to eat, but they have the best martini bar in the area and usually have a good dance band on weekends.

Solid wood fired permanently pizza. Margherita pizza was excellent. Excellent food and a definite recommend.

What can I say but excellent all the way. The food, the service, the setting in or out. It has an authentic feel and certainly taste. I cannot say a negative word as it has become one of my favorites.

We split a charcuterie which contained cold cuts, blue cheese and Parmesan cheese. Along with the bread we received was quite good. They have a wood fired oven and you can really notice the difference between that and otherPizzas that are not baked in one. . We split the tartafeller pizza which was delicious. It is 12 inches in size so with a n appetizer or salad it is a great item to split. I loved the cherry tomatoes on the pizza that would just pop in your mouth. The crust is as so good. Service was excellent. I definitely recommend.See you there!

My friend and I were out for a lunch and downtown Venice shopping day. We decided to eat at Taste of Italy. I’ve had their pizza and pasta before but never tried lunch there. I have to say it was fairly disappointing. We both had salads. They have five or six salads to choose from and of course you can add a protein. I ordered the beet salad and asked for chicken to be added for the protein. My friend also added chicken to her salad. The salads came out quickly but they looked as if the chicken had been thrown on at the last minute. For a restaurant of this caliber, we were expecting a few pieces of nicely grilled chicken. Instead, there were tiny pieces of chicken added. The beets tasted like they were out of a can. The bread is good along with olive oil and strawberry balsamic on the side. I thought at first the waiter didn’t charge me for the tiny chicken pieces but he did. We told him we were disappointed and he stated that the kitchen staff was fairly new. If you’re looking for a good salad at lunchtime in Venice, there are plenty of options.

What a great little gem of a place!Very cool interior with a very nice bar area. Comfortable stools and a couple of TV's too. Friendly service and a very clean establishment. The calzone was amazing and enormous. In fact, 3 of us split it for a snack!I will be back!!
