Our 4th time at Banyon for dinner. 6 pm reservations on a Friday. As we walked in the night crowd had yet to arrive. We were seated in the back from in a booth with a lake view just as the sun was going down. A nice view, but you need to hide the direct sunlight until the sun fully departs. Sangria was decent and my spouse had a cocktail she also seemed to enjoy. Our server Aisha was prompt and attentive throughout dinner. Lobster fritters was an appetizer, about 5 of ample size for sharing. Gulf grouper with brussell sprouts. Spouse had the pot roast which comes in a square shape with the portion large enough that she took at least half home. Mashed potatoes and vegetables accompanied the meal. We also received 2 pieces of dinner bread. Expected more but maybe bread is becoming an expensive item to give free?? We skipped dessert. Overall another tasty meal at Bayon.
Our waitress was superb and very attentive. The Banyan House does not offer a corking charge which is disappointing given all area restaurants offer one. Villani's right across the street has a $15 corking fee as do all area higher end restaurants. My friend and I ordered the pasta bolognese which is one of their signature menu items. The bolognese sauce was hard to find making the pasta very dry, absent much needed flavor! The Caesar salad was very good once we added extra dressing! We left a 20% plus tip as our waitress was excellent. Quite frankly, we would have preferred Villani's with a modest $15 corking fee and what looked to be a similar menu. Brad
Nice place, food was pretty good but not great. Service and atmosphere was great. I would probably go back for appetizers and drinks. Our dinners were good but a little pricey for the quality and taste.
Everything about the Banyan House was great. As advertised. One suggestion though: Valet parking is sorely needed.
We had reservations and were seated immediately. Excellent service, staff, and food.

Went for lunch. Limited menu. The tomatoes and cucumber salad was not great. The chicken BLT and the steak sandwiches were OK, not great. The Mac and cheese was good. Parking is limited. Service was good. Doubtful that I will go back.

Sam and I stopped for lunch on the way home from Sarasota. We are so glad we did. We sat at the bar. Inna served us. Sam had a spicy margarita, it was delicious. The blackened grouper tacos were on special that day. He really enjoyed them. I had the chicken wedge salad. Also delicious. Presentation and flavor were great. We finished with the bread pudding. It was served with house made butter pecan ice cream. An excellent ending for our meal. Everything was outstanding. Food, atmosphere and service. They were offering a dinner summer special - 2 entrees for $50. I made a reservation for Sunday night. Marley was our server. We enjoyed another wonderful meal. The entrees were awesome. We finished with a repeat of the bread pudding and also had the crème brûlée. Delightful. Service was excellent again. We have a reservation for their October Sunday brunch. We are looking forward to another fine experience. Thank you.

My fiance and I had a date night there last night. The service was great our waitress was great at her job. We did not wait long for a table or food and drink service. The food was excellent. I never had wagu steak, fondue and purple carrots before it was all great. It's only 11 minutes from our house. The whole new wellen park is beautiful scenery as well. If you haven't checked them out. I recommend that you do asap. Thank you the banyon house for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back real soon.

It was a party of 4 but they kept bringing 3 of everything, and butter for 2. Never did get our butter. A fine restaurant ought not be skimpy on bread and butter - makes you wonder. Don't order Happy Hour house wine: its over priced at happy hour rates. We ate on the patio but the fan didn't work over our head, the sun was hot, the bugs were out, and the wall and floor were dirty. Brussels sprouts were not done. The Flat Iron steak was good. I expected a better experience and I challenge them to do better.

The meat was prepared with generous portions. Filet was very good as was the short ribs. Salads were okay. Pressed coffee was nice and the cheesecake was fair. Our server Marly was very attentive and extremely pleasant. She made for a wonderful evening.
