We paid our hard earned money to the juke box. Little did we know, the bartender was committing fraud by adding in songs without proof of receipt (I did ask for that). Additionally, he asked us for credit card payment after we paid by cash. This place must be in dire straits if they’re double charging customers and not letting them play the music they want. It’s honestly disturbing and I don’t recommend anyone come here if they want to have a fun night.

This is my new local favorite "Cheers". Bartender is on point, atmosphere is traditional Florida vibe and other local patrons are friendly. Safe area to park and walk. Fun place especially if your traveling solo and just want to unwind and chat with folks. Beer is cold and bar is clean. Absolutely recommend ?
Parking: Free parking. Parallel parking I'm front if available or across the way at a free parking lot.

The Old Venice Pub was a much needed salve for our boiled souls on a “feels like 108°” afternoon during the 4th of July holiday. Off the Main Street on the 2nd floor, we walked into a cool oasis with cold beer, chilled wine, nods from the locals and a smile from behind the bar. It is an unexpected treasure, if you love local dives as much as I do. First time visit but it won’t be my last!
