We had been here years ago and thought we’d try again. The server wheeled her cart over and was trying to be funny but was a bit rude. The service was slow, even getting our drinks. The sever seemed argumentative with us at times. We ordered soup, asked for only 1 kind of cheese on it and was told no the kitchen was too busy for that. We waited about an hour for our food while other tables who came in after us got theirs. We asked the waitress and was told the pizza takes longer. When the food did come, it was cold and 1 person didn’t get theirs as the server said someone else took it by accident. We asked another server if we could speak to a manager and she said there wasn’t one. The only time the server was apologetic or seemed to care was when the bill came and when we would be adding our tip. I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant to friends or family.

Our go to place, full timers not snowbirds, this is Venice not the east coast. Food is great, genuine people, service is outstanding. RELAX, ENJOY, the way life here is intended.

Love this restaurant. We had a party of 20 reserved in advance . Service was excellent with everyone receiving their entrees in a timely manner. The menu is extensive with entrees to fit nearly any tastes. Highly recommend visiting here. You won't be disappointed.

We met friends for an early dinner. The food was good with large portions. The prices were reasonable. Service was adequate but not that smooth. Staff were friendly. We had been before and thoroughly enjoyed it they just seemed a little off this visit. It is a good location for larger groups.

We came in and the first thing we saw was the run-down outside with some of the lights having broken globes and the birdbath fountain / planter filled with green slime. Upon entry the place didn’t smell like an Italian restaurant. The hostess didn’t come over to us but expected us to just follow from across the room. We were seated and the atmosphere was loud (loud talking patrons) and it was extremely distracting. We moved tables but it didn’t help. There was a lot of dust. The last straw was the water with a slimy rotten lemon full of seeds. At this point we left without ordering.

Was one of our favorite places to have dinner in Venice Florida
My husband and I were very loyal customers since 2012. Waitress Jen and Maria have been serving us for all these years. . We had dinner there Friday night August 01/2025 Maria was our waitress My husband order his usual go to dish ( Lasagna ) and after eating his Lasagna that is served in a oven safe baked oval crock which is then placed on a round plate he noticed a huge at least three inch palmetto bug dead on the plate. When calling over the two waitress , Jen and Maria they took the plate to the chef who did not come out at all from the kitchen. . We were told the owner was not in to come out as well. . We were asked to pay for our pizza Which was our appetizer . We disputed paying for the pizza as we would never pay for any food out of that kitchen at all. . Who ever plated the Lasagna in the kitchen should have seen a three inch palmetto bug . For sure. It Was a horrible Experience To say the least and was Handled very unprofessional. We did pay for our two drinks and left a decent tip for Maria as she was just as surprised and turned off as we were. Needless to say we are NEVER going to Valente’s restaurant in Venice Florida again. Angelo and Debra
Walk in and was completely ignored for 5 mins so i walk out. Not sure the reason why though.

Valenti's is SO SO delicious! If my waistline could afford it I would eat there every single day! I prefer the atmosphere in the bar to the actual restaurant and the service is superior!
Can't wait to eat there again!

Last night, 22 residents of the Venetia Community had a delightful culinary experience! We had a private room, great service and the food was absolutely delicious! As the organizer of the group dinner, I communicated with Caesre Valenti, who was absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. Valenti’s actually had its roots in the Italian district of Hartford. CT and then moved its restaurant to Venice over 30 years ago! A big thank you to Caesre and his staff!
