Awesome little local joint. The people are fantastic. The food was delicious. Reuben and pierogis sampler were amazing. I had never been here but was hungry late. This came up on maps. I had seen it but never went in. I called them 15 min before close and the dude took my order and i headed there. I was only 9 minutes away but wanted to be sure i could order. They were fantastic.

The gates bites are the best in town. Perogie sampler was soooooo good...pan fried. Friday special smash burger with onion jam was so on point. This was the best food I've had in Venice for the price.

Love this place! You have to experience it to know it. It's probably some of the buzz bar food around and has items you would not normally see on a bar menu like pierogi and they are known for their French onion soup. Highly recommend!

Since a new owner this place has genuinely become the best ādive barā on the outside it doesnāt look like anything special but when you walk in itās a beautiful dive bar. They have pool, a couple arcade games, and 8 flat screen tvs with every game on. And on top of that, coming from a chef, they actually having amazing food?Buffalo wings are one of my favorite foods ever, and they have the best Buffalo wings in all of Venice, their wings are perfect in size, they donāt bread their wings, they just fry them(which is how Buffalo wings should be) their Buffalo sauce is creamy and clings to the wing, and has the perfect amount of vinegar in the sauce. Their tater tots are massive and so crispy itās insane. I almost alwaus get their burger with a side of queso, and dip the burger in it. The bread is amazing and I always ask for medium rare and itās perfect everytime. The portion sizes are huge and the price is so so so cheap for what you get. DEFINITELY GO HERE!
8-25-24. First time diner at this long standing bar. I was impressed with the huge amount of food I received. I ordered the turkey Club with onion rings. It came with a pickle as well. They are open late, which is unusual for Venice. I will definitely be back. It is a little bit of a hole in the wall, but it has character.

This was our first time going to the pour house. Iām sorry but this is a dive bar. We went there for dinner but only had a drink and left. First of all it was very dark and the bartender had a very tacky t-shirt on. It was very loud. We were very uncomfortable with the clientele, but if thatās the vibe they desire then they are successful. We wonāt be going back; you can bet on that. We went down the road to Darrellās bbq and had a wonderful meal, however they only have beer and wine.

The service was impressive at first and then things went hay waywire. I ordered a heavy beer with a lot of flavor. They served me a refreshing cocktail 3 times before I finally got a heavy beer. I ended up vomiting due to too much sweetness while gambling on some slot machines they had available. Sure you can claim I was "drunk" and attempt to boot me while I'm in free spins to end me. I'm sorry that you off your experience depicted me as a lowlife drunken fool cause you're closing. Don't expect me to respond as as an idiot and comply to your rules as if I'm incapable to comprehend reality. I'm here. In this moment. Capable to comprehend what is happening. I'm sorry but I'm not coming back. I'm willing to advocate for what is happening and correct improper assumptions of bartenders who assume who believe that know it all though experience. It's one thing to have people who are able to comprehend what's going on however having someone who creates an environment and is getting paid to do so is a whole nother story. Yes it's believable but then stepping out of the bar and having advocates who "who oce worked there" to someone who's explaining what they experienced is another story. I was going going to become a regular but thank you for revealing the true identity of the the establishment. Moving on ?
