I don't know what has happened to this place, but the service absolutely sucks now! I don't know if it's changed owners or what has happened because I've come here for years, but now they've hired a bunch of teenagers who are absolutely Clueless! Tonight there was a multitude of people in the Drive-Thru and in line and only one of the three employees helping customers, apparently the one taking orders screwed up something on the cash register, she then tried to figure it out and took a picture with her phone while there were 10 people waiting in line then walked away.I realize it's difficult to find competent employees in Vero, but for what they charge they should be able to pay employees a premium to attract a good employees who will at least pretend to care about customer service. Never again! There are other options in Vero so I'll go there in the future.

Went to Vero Beach location for the first time after driving by it for 4 years. The custard was delicious! It beats the other custards on the market. We will be regular customers. Service was great and the girls at the window were very polite.

The service here is top-notch. I went to pick up a pre-ordered cake, and it wasn't ready when I got there. I had to wait 15 minutes, no big deal, I took a seat and scrolled my phone for a bit. Once, the young girl called me over to let me know my order was ready. She was apologetic and said, "For your wait, please accept this gift card for a future purchase." I told her that wasn't necessary,it was only 15 minutes, she insisted. That is going above and beyond for customer service!! The cake was amazing, definitely think of them for a party!!

It took 3 times for me to write this.and it hurts me to write this but how they did me tonight pissed me off to my core, Tonight was the last straw. I love this place it's about the only ice cream that I can eat. The service here is trash, there is one girl here who does her job correctly , it's a bunch of little kids that seem to not want to work. I tip 5 bucks on a 18 dollar order every single time . I order the same thing every single time and yet they can only seem to make it correctly when the one girl works. I order chocolate ice cream I get vanilla. I order a flurrie I get a milk shake . I don't have the energy to go back and forth with children every single time I go there so I took the lose tonight . Some girl I've personally never seen before decides to take charge of a order she thought she heard , after messing it up the first time and her co worker telling her she making it wrong , she got a attitude. The co worker finishes my girlfriends order puts it out the window respectfully.fastforward a minute ,Then she puts what she was making me out the window aggressively followed by have a good night aggressively and shuts the window before I could even grab what she made.. a " vanilla marshmallow peanut butter flurrie with nuts . I would of have had to make a scene to get it fixed to the " chocolate Arthur peanut butter cup flurrie.. I took the L so I'm not going speak on being allergic to one of the ingredients in the flurrie she handed me, but y'all going kill someone with your carelessness.. I'm sadden to say this but I will never go back there .
love the ice cream here!! i even take my dogs through the drive thru sometimes to get the pup cup lol. it's a cute little spot with great staff.

I stop at Abbotts every time I'm in the Vero Beach area. Frozen custard is the best ice cream treat I know of. In my opinion, the best flavors are the ones always available: Vanilla and Chocolate Almond. I've tried many, many flavors here, but I always order a pint of those two flavors. Abbotts offers several flavors to choose from; Eggnog and Mango are good choices.... but if I could only have one it would be Vanilla without any toppings... simple and pure bliss!

Amazing service and delicious custard makes this a place to go at any time of the year. We take all of our friends and family here anytime they visit.Their flavors are always changing and have a great variety of options to choose from. If for any reason you don't like something just let them know and they will happily change it out for you.Parking may be limited, but their drive-thru and front counter service is always fast and friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: They have handicap parking and wheelchair accessible ramps.
