Amazing experience!!! We went out for our anniversary and were greeted with the most welcoming loving energy from the manager and the staff! Complimentary champagne as we got escorted to our table and our waiter Winston made out experience a dream! The food was just as impeccable as the staff! Would return many times, would recommend 10/10!!!

The Matradee this evening was very rude, unfortunately. However, our server was delightful and the food was delicious.

The short rib dip fell a bit short texture wise otherwise all in all very good experience !!

Me and my husband came by for a date, we have two small kids so getting away is much needed! Last time we were here was a year ago for our anniversary and it was nothing short of amazing! They exceeded my expectations and did so again this time! The ambience was perfect, we were in a little room that was very intimate and private. Our serve Jonathan was absolutely outstanding and attentive! Our food was divine as usual, I got the airline chicken breast and cleaned my plate. My husband got a New York strip that was cooked to absolute perfection!

We were greeted with a nice glass of wine for my husband and I, it was my birthday dinner. We also ended the night with a surprise chocolate cheesecake with a candle. Our waiter was amazing and great experience.

The spinach salad was outstanding. For dinner I had the dry aged sirloin, my date had the swordfish. Dry aged steaks are a little hard to find, the sirloin had the distinct aged flavor I was looking for. The swordfish was excellent, a very thick filet was perfectly cooked, seared on the outside but moist and flaky in the center. The service was outstanding, our person was attentive and always nearby if anything was needed.

This dinner was for my wife's birthday. She's been looking forward to it for weeks. This was our first visit to Cobalt since all of the upgrades and it fid not disappoint! The fresh oysters were sone of the best we've had in 20 years. The caviar was superb. My wife had sea scallops and I had the braised short ribs. Both were fantastic! Finally, the service was impeccable . Jenna did a fantastic job enduring all of our needs were met . She has a in depth knowledge of the menu and helped us to navigate the myriad of choices.

We sat down at 0735 pm. We didn't a drink/wine/or opportunity to order until 8 p.m. They brought us the incorrect bottle of wine twice. We didn't get dinner until 0850 pm. The dry-aged steak was excellent.

The atmosphere is very nice with a beach view from inside and available outside patio dining is an option. We sat inside. Upon arrival I requested a table near the window if it was possible and they were extremely accomodating. We were offered a glass of rose while we waited for the table to be set up. Very nice. All of the staff were exceptional in every way. The food: the Delmonico steak was done to perfection. We also ordered a starter of fried calamari, a side of creamed spinach and dessert of mango sorbet and a chocolate chip cookie. The starter was not worth ordering again, for me. It was very heavily breaded and served with a lemon aioli, so I felt like I was eating breading dipped in mayo. Not the best. The creamed spinach was tasty but there was a large cheese crisp on the top which was hard to cut even with a steak knife and upon trying to eat it, I found it to taste like bad cheese. Perhaps it was intended for decoration. The mango sorbet was outstanding in taste and texture. The cookie was okay, and really small considering it was $4 for one cookie. The wine selections are very good and I am a subscriber of Wine Enthusiast which has mentioned Cobalt for a few years now. I will definitely go back again but I will probably stick to the steak, maybe potato and salad instead of what I ordered this time. Kudos to the management!

Delicious ribeye- one of the best, the carpaccio was a bit bland, booked for outside but was seated inside, that was not made clear until we were in front of table. Yes it had rained but we are Mainers and would like to choose our comfort level-especially since there were dinners outside. Anyway- the old fashioned was perfect and the steak was best I've had outside of Texas.

Second time we've dined here....I guess we were thinking maybe it would be better this time. Hostess and wait service was actually really good, and the ambiance outdoors overlooking the beach was very nice. The food, however, was once again overall...meh. Just like before, the food felt and tasted uninspired and lacked flavor. While all dishes were prepared fine, they just didn't give me anything to want to come back for...I think maybe they are trying too hard to impress with imaginative dishes and presentation but are forgetting about the basics of flavor and texture. Not much more to say, other than I paid too much.

Jonathan did an amazing job guiding us through the experience of Cobalt. We had timely serving, good server input, and a high level of professionalism from him. I'm very happy with our decision to come here and I will certainly be back again soon. Props to Jonathan and props to the cooks!
