Cooper's Chop House & Seafood

Food, delicious. Service, impeccable. Atmosphere not great unfortunately...insufficient a/c. Old, uncomfortable booths. Food was way overpriced and very seafood heavy. Need more variety.

Second visit at Coopers and was not disappointed. The bar made some great flavored martini's, a nice start to a quiet dinner. We tried the deviled egg appetizer for light start. It was unique with a pickle slice and a creamy texture of the filling. For dinner I had the lobster Thermidor which had a generous portion of lobster tail served over creamy potatoes which sounded odd but worked well with the sauce. My date had the grouper served over a mushroom risotto, Grouper was nicely prepared and not over or undercooked. The server was very attentive, she was always at the ready to refill and check on our meal.

The special prime rib was sold out at 5:45 pm. The. Lobster bisque was lukewarm and had lumps of flour floating in it. The Oysters Rockefeller were good, the wine was good. The regular chef was apparently not working that evening. The staff was very good but we were extremely disappointed in the evening and left before ordering dinner. Not sure we'll go back.

Lunch was great Ahi tuna tacos so good starter smoked fish dip. Great. Service spot on. Great

It was prime rib special night there on Sunday and I asked for a special favor to have it blackened. It was blackened and cooked perfectly! I couldn't have asked for better! The wire was very attentive and just a great guy. We're out here on vacation. Would love to come back here and eat at this restaurant. The next time we come! Great job by all!

Excellent experience at Cooper's. The atmosphere is lovely and staff are very professional and friendly. The menu had just the right amount of selections. The filet was cooked perfectly. Sides were very good. Scallops were on point as well as the risotto. I highly recommend trying abd returning to this wonderful restaurant.

Service from Cameron the hostess and waitress along with Russell was outstanding Prompt service friendly and a great experience

The quality and quantity of the food was exceptional. The elk rack was prepared perfectly, was tender and tasted delicious. We will be back again, and again.

Nice, comfortable, environment with excellent food and service. Loved the fact that the restaurant is named after the owners labrador. Had a simple meal with the chopped salad and the fillet – both were excellent. Solid wine list by the glass. Was solo traveling on business, but wished my wife could've joined me. She would've loved it. Recommend for any occasion. 

No question that their strip steaks (two ordered) done medium rare were excellent in preparation, flavor and tenderness. Two salads were also large and very well prepared. Service was excellent. The restaurant last night was quiet with only a few guests, so it might be louder if full. We did not care for the wooden-slat bench seating, so we requested a table with padded chairs. We will dine here again requesting only padded chairs.

Best deal in town, Sunday's special Mussel's for $10.00! They were cooked to perfection and so yummy! My husband had the steak Frites and enjoyed it! Love lunch at Cooper's!

We've dined here twice and the food is great. Last night they had music and were kind enough to offer us seating options depending on the volume level we preferred. Waiter was very good. Second glass of wine arrived after we finished dinner but overall great food and music.

We dined at this restaurant for the first time. There were 3 of us and were seated in their covered area facing the waterfront. It was a great view. Our server, Katherine, was terrific. Two of us ordered the prime ribeye and they were cooked to perfection. Actually everything we had was delicious. We will definitely go back.
