Dagwood's Deli & Sub Shop always has such great sandwiches but their service has gone down to 0. I called last week, waited for 45 min on hold and no one ever took my order so I was forced to hang up and get food somewhere else. Then today, I called and someone took my order…..she stated, your food will be ready in 30 min for pick up. We get there and she has no record of the order. She says, I can take your order now and you can wait. Ummmm…I work for a living, so unless you can deliver it or give me a discount, I can’t stay to wait 30 min for my order. To which the lady denied they took the order and took no fault in the situation whatsoever. Shame on you Dagwoods! Such good food for such terrible service.

Went to Dagwood's today for lunch.Several things un-nerved me.1. All the tables in this place are hightops.There are no low tops to sit at. I am under 5' tall. I need a step stool to get into these hightop chairs. Strike #1.2. There was nice music playing when we went in. Then the music stopped and a loud mouth sports announcer came on.This continued and was very distracting.No more nice music. Strike #23. I ordered a Reuben sandwich. It was just ok. People were saying how great this sandwich was. I personally was not impressed. The meat was extremely salty. Strike #34. I asked the server if the potato salad was in "the white bucket," which is a purchased salad. She assured me that it was made on the premises. I believed her and ordered it. To my surprise, the potato salad was the purchased brand which is not very good. Strick #4I was not happy when I left. I probably will not be back unless they get low tables to sit at.

Ordered chicken caeser salad, forgot the chicken and then they said they took off the price of the chicken and still charged me $15 for some lettuce, croutons and cheese and dressing. Wasn't that good of a salad. Husband had a good salad with all the fixing cost the same. Think I got screwed.

We went to enjoy the open house gor East Coast Bubble tea. Our oldest Granddaughter woks there. We went into Dageoods and ordered a pizza it was well worth the wait. Plenty of toppings and it was one of the tastiest pizzas have eaten in Vero in a long time.

Passing through Vero for work on a delivery and wanted a tight bite. Looked up local spots and this place jumped out at me.Genuinely felt like a cool spot to chill and have a drink and get a quick bite. Let me tell you staff so friendly and food came fairly quick. I got a Reuben hold the thousand island dressing and let me tell you definitely up there as the best Reuben I have ever had.Definitely stopping back here whenever I'm up here.

I would give it NO STARS if I could. Took my wife there for lunch only to sit for 40 minutes only to be told I'm sorry your order didn't go through... what was it you guys ordered. But you take great care of your regulars considering they got there food before us and we were there way before them. So if you want to wait around for a frozen sams club burger more power to you. My family and friends never again.

Love the new place. We have been driving up from PSL. Worth it. Friendly staff, clean environment. They recently started making their own pizza ? and today, the owner was personally handing out free slices to customers to try. It was delicious. Highly recommend this place. Support local.
I haven’t been to Dagwood’s since they moved and now I know the reason why. I stopped there today for a couple of subs and to my surprise they don’t have whole wheat sub rolls or tuna anymore ugh. Ok, so I order a turkey with cheese and some veggies and a Philly. Well when I got home and opened the box to eat my sub I about fell over. I asked for shredded carrots, sprouts, cukes, pickles, and so on, well look at what they gave me, chunks of carrots, and cukes not even evenly cut, there hunks, hacked up! I payed nearly $30 for these things and what a DISAPPOINTMENT! I will never go back there again! I’d rather eat just ok Chinese than this.Sad, cause they used to be really really good. Oh, and one slice of turkey and cheese.
Food was ok the cashier seemed to be not too friendly my friend paid with c/card and placed tip and signed it when she delivered our food she made a comment to my friend and said I'll be back with your receipt because you didn't sign it (but she did sign it) and that's not the issue the issue was the tone and facial expressions that was annoying and she never came back to our table for a signature because what she claimed was wrong but with that said she never even come back to apology instead just ignored us. They seemed to be out of several items on menu like meatball sub, Ruben, steak sub.

First time at DagwoodsHad read such rave reviews and pics looked amazing!! Waitress at the bar was not anywhere near friendly … I got the Rueben .. only served on Saturdays so thought good choice since only one certain day .. nope wrong decision .. it was smaller than small .. hubby got the Cuban , large bread but meat was scarce , daughter got deli sub .. she got because it had bacon .. no bacon in the place and didn’t find out til food came !! :(
