Green Cabin Room

The Green Cabin Room is a small bar on the second floor off the lobby of Disney's Vero Beach Resort. It has a loyal following. For our April 2024 visit, the bar opened at 5PM. There was a line, but we easily got seating. There's tables, bar seating, high tops, and outdoor seating on an oceanview balcony. Standard Disney Resorts bar menu, full bar, and specialty drinks are available. Friendly service. Amazing views! There is trivia and mixology classes offered, too! Highly recommended!

Coffee and tea with breakfast snacks in the morning, then cocktail, wine and beer with appetizers in the evening. Fun trivia and name-that-tune nights are fun and help you meet other folks. Well staffed and everyone was so nice, oh, and that view looking out on the mighty Atlantic ocean, never get tired of that!

Couldn’t have been any better. Friendly Bartender great cocktails & beautiful view on the balcony so nice we have a Disney in Vero Beach. Pool bar is great too.

Green Cabin Room is our favorite being hangout when staying at the Disney Vero Beach Resort. Staff is great and atmosphere is a relaxed, mellow vibe. Great low lighting. Used to offer more food options for a light dinner and live music. That is gone m and we hope they bring it back.

Tried to sign up for the rum tasting 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Was told there was space but they wouldn’t set up for another person. Pretty much sums up the opposite of what is expected from Disney. Hope the the new CEO renews the service that used to be standard from Disney.Edit: as my family and I entered the nice restaurant for our thanksgiving meal a manager attempted to address the above review with me. 1) with family with me heading into what is supposed to be a nice thanksgiving meal is not the time for this, 2) stating that it takes time to set up is not an excuse. When folks show up to tastings on the cruise ships without reservations, the cast makes accommodations. We do not do that as reservations are requested and should be respected by guests but I have seen it several times. In this case, we hurried to make reservations ahead of time but we’re denied. If it takes more than 15 minutes to set up for a tasting , that reflects poorly on the staff. So, while I appreciate that a manager attempted to address the concern, it was handled poorly by the manager which only frustrated me because I was not going to address these frustrations in front of 2 other staff and my entire family. The end result was an awkward exchange prior to our thanksgiving meal.

We went for the great view on Wednesday 8/30/2022 and all we received was bad service & bad drinks…given the bad drinks we’ve just had and thinking about staying to enjoy the view a bit longer, I then try ordering a latte or cappuccino but the server/bartender CM from Queens, NY rudely said he “wouldn’t start the coffee machine just for that because it was reserved only if I ordered a coffee martini or something like that” .We left to catch the great view in our balcony with a bottle of red I bought at the market downstairs

Terrible Service. Was ignored by the bartender and left unserved. Certainly not up to Disney Standards.

I had fond memories of this place prior to Covid. This was a very nice relaxing place that offered fun night time activities such as karaoke and trivia. Now it’s just a bar with a sub-par menu. It does have a nice terrace view of the ocean, however there is so much potential that this little jewel could be. Bring back the cool night time activities to give adults some fun things to do. I love the Vero Beach resort but this place adds no value in its current state. Bring back the fun activities at night!

This used to be a fun place to hang out at night. They had Karaoke, Trivia games, and other activities. Evidently someone complained so they ended it all (leave to some fudy-dudy to do so in todays world). Now, this is just a boring, vastly underused area at the resort. Disney Management: how about returning to your roots of fun and bringing back the night time activities? There are now only two activities to do at night at the resort - movie night and a camp fire. Neither am I interested in participating. The nightly activities at the Green Cabin were fun and something to do at night. Now there there is nothing.

It's always nice & relaxing atmosphere. I wish they brought back trivia nights . Gil's at the bar area attentive and don't seem to mind to go extra mile to please customer's.
