I hosted a Birthday Luncheon at the Green Marlin Restaurant recently, and I was totally impressed at how caring and accommodating all of the staff were. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, and spacious. Jenna, the hostess was wonderful!! And, we appreciated her offer of additional tables for our use, if needed ( and they certainly were). Our waitress, Cat, was very very friendly and attentive. She catered to us like we were royalty. Our food came out amazingly fast, and i must say, everyone raved about the food they were served. My Mahi was moist and fresh, the grouper was excellent, and the quesadilla's were mouthwatering. And, all the portions were more than satisfactory. We were a festive group and the staff seemed to genuinely enjoy our celebration. A Big Thank You To The Green Marlin For A Job Well Done.

😍Best restaurant in Vero Beach
The past 3 times(1 month) was not Good. last nite was particularly horrible. we ordered burgers, medium- they were hockey pucks- not edible- and the buns were soooooo hard, I could have broke a window, with them - We brought it up to the Bartender, who gave ZERO FUKKS, and removed 1 from our $100. bill.... Lou, Do Better- this was Bad
will never go back.
food was low end.

Nice and cozy, some meals are better than others. But overall, it's a good place to eat.
Had lunch there today, won't be returning. Fish and ships weren't good. Wife tried the Cajun Pasta, also not good. Fish batter was dark, not sure if grease was dirty or batter was burnt. Fries were seasoned, I hate seasoned fries. I should have asked.

Service was friendly. Atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. Food was disappointing. Ordered ahi tuna nachos-good, rueben egg rolls-edible, shrimp and grits-not appealing, mostly celery, tomato, green pepper, 5 shrimp and a spoonful of grits, aloha chicken and shrimp- did not eat, very thin dry chicken breast over white rice with shrimp kebobs doused with teriyaki sauce, kids fish and chips- left mostly untouched by a kid who loves fried fish. Altogether disappointed with our meal especially for the price.

Have always enjoyed this place for lunch but had the worst dinner of our lives here tonight…waitress told us the stone crabs typically come with 3 claws. Well there were 4 of us so we asked if it was possible to have 4. No problem. They end up bringing us 7-8. No one is around to ask if this correct so we eat them. Were charged $80 for these skimpy claws as if it were a double portion we asked for! Second app never came (thank god!). Blacked grouper tacos came to the table not only cold, with cold fries, but the fish was in fried nuggets. Was made to feel like this was somehow my fault for them coming out wrong. When they were re-served they were on a cold tortilla with all the wrong toppings than listed. Two of party’s fishes that were asked to be done well, were total gel mush, barely cooked. Could not bring any of this to anyone’s attention because we were totally abandoned. We arrived here at 5:15 and did not leave until 8:30 with the slow service. Just wanted to get out of there!

Unreal I got 14 and a half fries unsure why they've even put them on the plate I won't be going back my burger was well done not medium
My fiancé and I had dinner at this restaurant but we were disappointed by the lack of manners shown by one of the waiters. Although the manager and most of the staff were friendly, the waiter started clearing our table way before we had finished our meal. When my fiancé told him that we were still sitting there, he responded by saying "I know". We were not happy with this behavior and believe that it is unacceptable. Despite this, the food was good and the owner is very nice.

Have been several times and the food is pretty consistent. Shrimp and scallops in the weeds is my favorite. The seafood platter is good, although a little rich for my taste (the scampi sauce is more cream based). The swordfish medallions Louisiana style is good. The one thing I have tried that I wouldn't recommend is the gumbo. As my husband is from Louisiana we know gumbo! There were giant pieces of onion and tomato in it and hardly any broth, and it definitely didn't look or taste like a roux. There were giant chunks of Crab in it, that's always nice....but I think they should call it seafood soup or something else, not gumbo. Definitely go, the food is great overall and the service is usually outstanding! The atmosphere is very casual, and there's a great Tiki bar outside for nice weather.
