Unfortunately they had to close as of today due to family issues up north. Very sad to see them go. They were an amazing place to eat.

We were confused when we found out where this was located - literally in a medical office complex! Food was very good, but a bit slow - although "scratch" is in their name! The servers were also great - they apologized profusely for the coffee situation-evidently a machine needed help! It is a cozy spot, you really forget that it is adjacent to a Cleveland Clinic complex.

So.... I was taking my mamma 2 the doc in this little plaza and I noticed this Cafe in the corner while I was waiting on mom. I was greeted immediately by a server named sailor Lilly and Jennifer. Both very vibrant. Full of friendliness and very quick 2 want to help.I was not expecting this kind of feel in a little busy Cafe. It was around lunch time and I reviewed the menu I wanted breakfast and that's what I got the most delicious scrambled eggs with fresh avocado and a side of grits. Yum yum. The cook was the owner and I could just see the passion for his cooking and taste it as well. Very pleased and will be returning thanks guys hope the Cafe succeeds. Vero would most definitely be missing a great place to unwind and eat if they didn't have you guys.

Just great service and food. Very reasonably priced. Sat outside last week. I had the avocado toast & a side of grits. My husband had the very best grilled to perfection Grouper Reuben. He hasn't stopped talking about how fresh and yummy it was. Side of fries and some cole slaw.

Called in for a pick up, grouper basket was ready on arrival. Was only a pick up order but Sarah saw that I stopped outside at one of there spotless table’s. My hunger hit hard and and the food smelled so tasty, it was gonna make it home. She came and checked on me and ran in for some requested extra tartar sauce. Impressed by the food, impressed by the service then Sarah takes time to escort an elderly couple to a table and assist with the menu, 10 minutes before closing! It’s rare to see this level of dedication so just want to give a shout out to Sarah, the kitchen help and proprietors.I’ll definitely return and recommend Scratch Gritt

I had heard some very complimentary comments about Grit Scratch. And the comments were so true! I love this spot now for either breakfast or lunch. The grouper Rueben was over the top delicious. Salads are fresh and plentiful. French fries are outstanding. And Jen is just about the best waitress I’ve ever seen. Our new favorite place.
