The food was elevated, fresh, and delicious. The outside atmosphere was really lovely, and the service was top notch. The special cocktail menu was inventive and we can't wait to go back next time we're in town.Parking: The restaurant is part of a hotel so valet parking is an option if you don't want to look for street parking.

Place was full unfortunately wait staff was not. Had to wait 12-15 minutes to order drinks. Drinks arrived after appetizers. Poor server had almost all the tables. Manager walked around and did nothing to help. Spoke to him after and he said he had a large call out tonight from his staff hence they were short. Perhaps he should consider getting involved. I'm a local been to Heaton's many times. Not anxious to go back. Our server to her credit worked her tail off and kept a good attitude.

Terrible experience! Heatons/Cobalts owned by IHG, Vero Beach. We waited over 2 hours after placing our order, and when we finally received our order the Fish Tacos were ice cold and the Summer Salad with (Raw in the Middle) Chicken had to be sent back. We live in town, and have been enjoying light lunch or dinners periodically for a few years. The waitresses and bar tenders are great, however over worked, and they all get the brunt of the criticism from dinners. Ya'll have been warned by a local. Don't bring guests and be embarrassed. There are plenty of great privately owned restaurants in town. Buon appetito!

I did'nt realise that it was outdoor dining when I made the reservation. Service was excellent, the food good, the menu limited. This was just not the dinning experience I was looking for. Wouldn't do it again.

We love Heatons however last night was painful. Put in our full order immediately at 7pm Our appetizers came at 8 pm Dinner at 8:45 pm Because it took forever we had an expectation that someone would care. Toughest 287.00 I have ever spent!

The food was good - not spectacular but good- but our overall experience was quite poor and we won't return. We waited 15 minutes to be seated for our 6:30 reservation (due to a kitchen backup, they explained). Once seated, a server didn't arrive for 10 minutes. We ordered everything at once, recognizing the delays. Our server said it would take 30-40 minutes for our food to arrive. It took closer to an hour. When she arrived to check on us after our food came I gave her my credit card without evening getting the check, fearing how long we might sit waiting for it. We appreciated the manager taking our two (nonalcoholic) drinks off the tab- we didn't ask for that- but far better would have been reasonably attentive service and accurate information about wait times. That made a bad experience worse. I'm sorry to say I wouldn't recommend to others despite its incredible location.

It seems whenever we dine at Heatons, which is quite often being “locals”, the menu seems to never change. I'm not saying to completely revamp the menu but a few new additions would be welcome. Soups would be nice.

Great lunch outdoors near the ocean.. Nothing better. Service was excellent. The boys had smashed burgers, and the girls had fish tacos. But we're delicious. French fries were meh.

Dog friendly and wonderful food. Out server was delightful. They said they closed at three for lunch inch, a few families that the graciously seated after that . That was not lost on us. It truly was kind

I've been to Heatons many many times over the years with my friends who live in Vero Beach. Today we met friends for lunch. Although the location is amazing and the beach view something spectacular, we were amazed at what the have done with pricing. EVERYTHING IS ALMOST DOUBLE the price it used to be. A lobster roll used to be $25 and it is now $45 .... almost double the price for something that hardly has any lobster in it. Such a rip off! The drink menu was so expensive we all passed on a beverage and had water. The appetizers cost more than a normal entre and the entres are beyond expensive. Total rip off. As my friend said, they are pricing the locals out of their restaurant and it is only good for visitors who don't know any better. I won't be returning.

I haven't been to Heaton's in a while but used to go there frequently in the last three years for lobster rolls. I was shocked to see that they raised the price from the $20's to $45! That's absolutely insane for an outdoor casual dining spot. The rest of the prices went up as well but not to that extent. Crossing this place off my list. I guess it's just for tourists now.

Moved to vero a couple years ago and hadn't tried heatons yet. Went with the wife for lunch last week. Bar staff was very friendly and greeted us a we walked up. Tall gentleman server was also really welcoming telling us to sit wherever we like . Mostly empty restaurant. So we chose a corner table on the elevated patio where we had a nice view of the water and a good breeze. This is when the female server Toni came up and told us we couldn't sit there because she was saving it for bigger parties. We were a little confused as the place was mostly empty including other medium sized tables. We asked her to clarify, asking if reserved for someone. She said she's reserving it for bigger parties and we could go sit below but not there. So we went to the lower level where you can't see the water and there is no breeze. Our server, who's name I can't recall, was nice and took care of us despite my confusion about the online menu which it seems is way out of date vs the current offerings. My fault though there. Table we wanted stayed empty the entire time we were there. I would happily try this place again, but having an encounter with a server who decided we didn't fit the bill for who she wanted in her section at a table so pushed us elsewhere after the rest of the staff were so kind is really off putting. Our lunch was ruined by this interaction. You don't reject your customers to try and curate who your customers are in your section. Toni is Rude AF!

We made a reservation a week in advance. We received multiple requests asking us to confirm we’d be there on Friday, 1/26. We arrived for our reservation and they told us they were close for a private party. They said they noticed us about the mixup by phone, but they never did. They offered us 25% off to eat in Cobalt where you can get a filet for $55. Not what we planned on. Bad service and bad faith. Very disappointed in the entire organization.
