Im so disappointed bc as a Afro Latina and my first experience with at Ceviche 28. We were seated and for 30 to 45 minutes we sat and No One can to serve our table after being seated not even utensils. That was classless and implied discriminatory practice. I am incline to believe that my beautiful skin color gave the servers the impression that we didn’t deserve to be there. We politely and gracefully walked out. The restaurant was not so busy , nor was it full so what was the reason for not attending us?? The Melanin in my skin? We notice a family (white hispanic) came after us and they was immediately served. It was clear we were not the desired customers or maybe in their belief that we were not worthy to be served. If you are melanated you may not get served here. ( if I could i would give 0 stars but since cant I’ll reluctantly give them a 1)

Ordered a few different entrées. The steak was really good. The chicken was not so great, and it definitely lacked the flavors of peru. I'm confused about the black beans with the rice when myocoba beans are what Peruvians use. The style of dishes they serve are close but definitely not authentic. Also, the chicha morada was ok. Since it has been almost 40 days since I left peru, I needed my fix ? but I think it may have been the powered mix. Definitely didn't taste like it was cooked in-house. Our server was good. The atmosphere was a bit lacking for the culture but seems like a good local spot to drink ? if you are into that.
