Sad day at this market. Not usual but need to share so they know. We ordered sword fish for 2, we received 2 slices . The portions were so not even close to equal at all. No we did not view before they wrapped them . We were too busy looking around the place which is cool and has a cute restaurant. We also pre-order 4 lbs of stone crabs for our Easter dinner. The crabs were sticking to the claw...maybe over cooked by those who caught them, but the meat was not firm..mushy. possibly frozen from a batch not sold. I say possibly frozen because I read you could freeze the crabs and tried. They were sticky and mushy. The prices are high everywhere for the crabs so we should get the best.

The food is good but the restaurant is extremely loud and there was so much smoke coming out of the kitchen that me eyes are burning. We could not wait to leave. Go there and order fresh fish to bring home and cook yourself or their prepared foods in the case. Do not go there and expect a culinary experienc.

Picked up Clams and Mussels and they were delicious. The place was really cool and had a great choice from seafood to homemade pastas.

Arriving in Vero on Friday and having spent some time thinking about Joey and Kimmy's wonderful seafood while on the auto train, I made certain to visit asap, for Saturday lunch. What can I say, they never disappoint. The nicest people, best food and skilled chef. If I could, I'd give them more than 5 stars

Delicious lunch today included garlic bread, the freshest calamari, lovely greek salad, garlic shrimp with pasta (lotsa garlic flavor here) and chicken parmigiana with a wonderful sauce! everything was fantastic and so fresh tasting! Nice chardonnay suggested by Kimmy herself complimented what was one of the best meals we have had in Vero! Thanks so much!! Will return to dine in and take home some wonderful take out offerings!
